Delicious Cuban Flavor Meets Classic Diner Comfort
If you’re looking for a cozy, affordable spot with a unique twist on your typical breakfast fare, Domenech Corner is a hidden gem worth checking out. This small diner has all the hallmarks of your classic breakfast spot—think eggs, toast, and coffee—but with a Cuban flair that sets it apart.
We stopped in for brunch and were pleasantly surprised by how quick and friendly the service was. Despite the small space, the energy was upbeat and welcoming, enhanced by the sound of live Cuban music playing in the background—a really nice touch that added to the overall vibe.
The food was where this place really shined. We tried the Cuban Sunrise, a flavorful breakfast plate with just the right balance of savory and bold, and the Ropa Vieja, which was rich, tender, and deeply satisfying. The empanadas were golden, flaky, and packed with flavor—perfect as a side or snack on their own.
Overall, Domenech Corner blends the familiarity of a classic American diner with the heart and flavor of Cuban cuisine. It’s fast, friendly, and full of character—a great spot for anyone craving a brunch that’s both comforting and a little out of the ordinary

This Haitian restaurant is truly something special. From the moment I first walked in, the warm service made me feel welcomed, but it was the food that kept me coming back. I’ve tried many Haitian dishes in my life, but the flavors here stand out as top-tier—rich, authentic, and clearly made with love. Every meal tastes like it was prepared with real passion, and the consistency is incredible. Each visit reminds me why this place has become one of my favorites: the hospitality, the quality, and the feeling of comfort that comes with every bite.

I ordered sausage gravy and biscuits with home fries and bacon this morning. Terrible food, I have never had food this bad. Biscuits were hard, gravy was so bad it tasted like the smell of gasoline. Everything was cold. I’ve eaten here three times prior and never once had something decent. Almost 20 dollars plus tip. Food went into the trash. After 4 chances I’m over it. I work hard for my money and can only treat myself every so often and when I have to throw my money in the trash it upsets me. So I decided to post a review. After 4 bad meals I think it’s about time to give a review.

Great Cuban sandwich and breakfast platter (Cuban Sunrise). The exterior is unassuming but the food and staff are lovely. We stopped here on a whim during a road trip and we’re so happy we did. We’ll add it to our list of favorite local finds.

What an awesome breakfast/lunch stop! Amazing Cuban breakfast and authentic Cuban Cappuccino was to die for. They have such a sweet staff (small but they know what they’re doing!) Definitely a new spot for us.

First time at this restaurant but l promise it wont be my last, my husband had visited before and couldn’t stop talking about it. I finally got my chance to eat here. Amazing is all l can say the food was hot and fresh the two lady servers were nice and friendly. There was a wait but you have to expect that when your food is cooked to order and fresh. Totally worth the wait. I had the pancakes and bacon, my husband had the bacon and ham omelet as you can see the omelet practically filled up the plate. Two could definitely share. I love the atmosphere and family feel. Please take the time to stop by you won’t be disappointed!

Food was so disappointing. There was no Cuban love in that food. The Cuban sandwich didn’t have fresh pernil and was basically flavorless and tough. My husband had a bistec/steak sandwich and it had one slice of beef and tasted like vinegar. I wanted to show my support for the restaurant, but there needs to be a change. Empanadas were also basic and disappointing.

These people served my 3 kids bad fries and all the people around us the gave them fresh good fries. No one came back to our table to check on us nor. I felt they served those fries to us intentionally because the cook in the back which is the owner , brought the plates out to us. We couldn’t get our server attention because as soon as we waved our hand or even said “excuse me” she would run off. They never gave us all of our food. We had salad with our dish as a side. My husband went to the counter and asked her about the rest of our food and she still never came. Pic shows the 3 plates of fries and freezer burnt chicken nuggets that was served to my children and the our pic shows good fries that were given to the people sitting next to us. What shame!

Pernil had no taste or was fresh. It’s almost as it was left overs and over cooked. Also, the plantains was not cooked in fresh oil so you can taste other foods that blended in with the oil. Cuban sandwich was drench in oil/mayo. Both meals were thrown in the trash- what a waste of money!
Their operation hours indicate 4pm on Sundays, but they apparently close at 2pm. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.
