Short version: This is an excellent seafood restaurant and it’s worth your time and money. If you’re reading this and thinking about it, just call or go, you’ll be very pleased!
Long version: I admit, I was skeptical when I saw a local crab place with only one review. I grew up in Southern Maryland. I usually have to go down home to find good crabs because I’m very judgmental when it comes to seafood. Twice now, I’ve ordered carryout steamed crabs, and last time I added snow crab legs. They do it right here! The crabs are live steamed and you can taste the difference. The people here know their seafood, they are friendly and easy to talk to, and their prices are extremely fair. I’m happy that I’ve found my local store that I’ll keep coming back to. I hope more people find this place so they can stick around for a long time!
A couple of things to note… when I call them, “Exxon” pops up on my Verizon caller ID. Don’t know why, but it is really a Seafood store. Second… when you drive up, it’s located among a bunch of little shops and farms. It’ll seem like you’re driving to the middle of nowhere, but it’s there in a nice little shopping center.

Ordered one dozen medium crabs $58. The next nearest crab House was charging $75 for a dozen mediums. The crabs were heavy and delicious. Also had the crab dip which was outrageously good and two very delicious shrimp salad sandwiches. Our server was Lexi, and she was absolutely outstanding. I will admit my expectations were low being located in the middle of nowhere, but it was a fantastic dining experience and my family and I will definitely be returning!

Terrific new place in Fawn Grove. We popped in for lunch while running service calls I. The area. Fat, overstuffed, delicious shrimp salad sandwiches with a big box of fries plus drinks and the pricing was spot on. In Baltimore we’re used to $60+ for what we had here. Terrific spot. Grab some beers at South County Brewing and then walk across the parking lot to this spot. You won’t regret it!

Don’t let the outside fool you..this little hole in the wall transforms into a super chill, clean, and lively/modern restaurant as soon as you step in! Came here with friends after visiting South Co Brewery and man it did NOT disappoint. These guys know what they are doing! The dining area is super spacious the tables are large and sturdy to eat crabs on.
The service was out of this world and the crabs blew my taste buds out of the water! Everything I have ever know about Maryland Steamed crabs has been all wrong. Super fresh and piping hot! The prices may deter some folks but I’m telling you: these steamed crabs are worth their weight in gold!
Best part is that they allow you to bring drinks from South County Brewing! BONUS: Their AC unit works wonderfully, which you will be thankful for after having a couple of beers from SCB!
10/10 reccomend I look forward to my next visit.

Best crabs in southern York county by far. We’ve lived in the area for a decade and I’ve been underwhelmed by the crabs. She’s got crabs for example sells larges that are basically smalls. Got 2 dozen larges for Father’s Day today from Crabby J and they were incredible. Great sized, heavy, and reasonably priced. This is absolutely our new go to spot for crabs.

We are so lucky to have such a wonderful seafood place this close to our home. This is my first time at Crabby J. I got the crabby pretzel, 1st it was cold inside, had to be sent back to be reheated. It was awful, all you could taste was cream cheese. Very minimal crab meat. I brought it home added some garlic, pepper and Old Bay….it was decent to eat then.
The only other couple in the place had cold food, and left 3/4 of their food on their plate.
