Appears it was a small crowd due to other events going on in town (Halloween/Day of the Dead Scavenger hunt). I was disappointed at the price we paid for 2 people $80 based on quantity and quality of food ( 1 cocktail, 1 pizza, 2 small salads, wings). However If you want a local dive for drinks and apps or pizza, this may be place for you.
And the hot honey pizza?! SO good. The perfect mix of sweet and spicy with a crispy crust that hit every time. Huge shoutout to the kitchen staff because they absolutely nailed it. You can tell they take pride in what they’re putting out! It was fresh, flavorful, and easily one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a while.
From front of house to back of house, the whole team killed it. 10/10 experience will be back again!
Well, if you a a guy you get served first. I sat here 10 minutes at the bar, half full and couldn’t beg for service. 2 female bartenders working hard.
Food- soggy pizza, overcharged. The deviled egg with blackened shrimp was good. Recommend.
My drink ran out couldn’t get a timely refill, decided to leave.
Bill had a surcharge on it and the bill wasn’t accurate.
If ur a local probably works for u.
Me? I won’t b back.
Edit: Went again. Are we in a bacon recession? A single piece of bacon cut into three smaller pieces? What are you guys doing? A slice of bacon is not that expensive, and you’re already charging a price that’s dollars more than the cost of the bacon to buy. This is a little ridiculous.
Other than him, the food is top tier, the drinks are amazing, and the service is fast and prompt. I am not in Portsmouth often but I WILL be back (though next time I might carry my pepper spray).
The menu sticks to classic pub staples, but the standout is the Neapolitan-style pizza—thoughtfully made with premium ingredients and well worth the visit on its own. It’s an easygoing spot where good food and local history meet.
After ordering our drinks and an appetizer we sat for a while enjoying the DJ and having a good conversation about our walk. We had the seafood dip which was very tasty. Just as we finished eating our appetizer the music cranked up to an outrageous level. We ended up moving to the patio.
Our main courses came out. My burger was a bit cold but tasty and filling. My wife had the club sandwich which she was enjoying as well. About that time the speaker on the patio cranked up. Another couple got up and left because of the volume of the music. We ended up scarfing down our food so we could leave as well.
The food was good but sitting 3 feet across from one another and not being able to hold a conversation because of how loud the music is… extremely ridiculous especially when there isn’t even a dance.
