Come to penn station quite a bit…. Today was not a good experience. I’m not sure if the girl who waited on me was new or what.
Ordered a (Turkey Bacon Ranch). Asked for No ranch & to make it “East Coast Style”. Asked if it could be toasted. She wouldn’t do that since TBR is listed as a cold sub.. I get it… so I asked for a Dagwood. Essentially the same order previously (Turkey & Bacon east coast style) I pay, get my receipt. There is no “add bacon” I bring this to her attention and even was willing to pay extra for bacon to be added. She says “she forgot to ring that up when I ordered and that she will add it.” I apologized for making my order initially complicated… Mind you in the meantime she says nothing to the other woman making my sandwich. Sandwich finally comes, I see her putting everything on except there’s no bacon. I bring this to her attention AGAIN and get a mumbled response.
Whatever…at this point her mind is made up and I am clearly not getting the bacon that I asked for 3 separate times…
Last but not least, she couldn’t wrap my sandwich properly. Used several pieces of tape and threw it into the bag.
Side Note: It was just myself and one other customer in there…. I don’t know how this became so difficult.

Drove 15 miles out of our commute to get the family PS — Showed up with my family at 10:40am, door says open at 10:30. Door locked. Two employees clearly visible inside, never came to door. Also tried to call, no one answered. Went elsewhere. Pretty disappointed.

Full disclosure, the only sub I’ve ever had from Penn Station is the Philly Cheesesteak, with mushrooms. But that alone is enough to give the food 5 stars in my opinion.
I’ve never had a bad sub from this location, and the staff are always extremely friendly. Everything is clean, the atmosphere is welcoming, and if you show up on a Tuesday it’s Free Cookie Sample Day with your order, so keep that in mind.

Our family has been here twice on a Thursday and a Friday. The team working were so friendly and talked to our kids. The food is always so good! I was just impressed with how kind and welcoming the staff was!

There were only 2 employees present & during my time there they had mine & another gentleman’s order, a door dash order, a group of three & a family of six. Not at all busy (surprisingly) so my sandwich was out quickly. My cheesesteak was hot and done well.
It was even delivered to the table. Lemonade was great. All of the tables were clean and the server disinfected the drink/condiment table while I ate. One of the cleanest restaurants I’ve been in. This was my first visit, but certainly not my last.
