I went mid-afternoon, so it was pretty empty. The space is really nice, they had good music on. The staff was friendly. Prices were reasonable. They were out of wings at the moment, so I ordered some jerk chicken tips and a side of mac and cheese. The chicken was delicious and came with fries. The portion size was generous, and I’ll be having it later for dinner too. The macaroni was some of the best that I’ve had from a restaurant. They had several sides that sounded really good like red beans and rice and yams, but I already couldn’t finish what I ordered. They had a full bar, and as I was chatting with a couple other people who came into eat, they mentioned it was a good bar and sometimes they have events there. Based on my lunch experience, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area or passing through.

Sooo First time getting Get Jerked – I got the jerk pasta, egg rolls and steak burrito Everything was goooooodd! I was missing my breadsticks but we placed a super large order so- understandable. The Jerk Egg rolls had jerk sauce for dipping and I’d suggest a nice sweet n sour or orange sauce. This did not take from the flavor- just my preference. I’ve been back and ordered the same thing again… Yes, but I will be coming for the Pizza soon! The location works well and the customer service was Lovely too!

It was a slow day. I was hopeful, but didn’t get the results I desired. The pasta and the fish were ok. The rice was cold, so that was disappointing… especially since I was eating in the car while traveling to Chicago. I was happy to support this black-owned business, but it’s not likely that I’ll make the trip back.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and welcoming energy. The customer service here is truly top-notch — every staff member went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests.

My husband and I have been enjoying food from Get Jerk since they started as a food truck. We have had ribs, catfish, collard greens, rice, salmon tacos, shrimp tacos, chicken tacos, and oxtails; and they didn’t miss serving an absolute hit EVERYTIME! Service was friendly. Food was amazing and price was reasonable. We will continue to visit Get Jerked everytime we come home to Gary from Indy and encourage everyone to try them.

I have to say the dining experience @ “Get Jerked” is fantastic. I ordered the jerk wings also the jerk tacos it was really good! the service is a breath of fresh air. it’s definitely the place to try if your in the area.

I always get food from here. The food is seasoned great. I usually get jerk chicken tacos or nachos but today I stepped outside the box and ordered a poe boy lunch. The lady that’s there that took my order was very nice and the food had a great presentation when I opened it and most of all it was delicious!
