Taco Nazo® was started in 1978 by Ensenada natives, Maria and Gilberto Romero. They wanted to bring the authentic, fresh taste of Ensenada cuisine to the people of California. Taco Nazo’s authentic Mexican cuisine and delectable Ensenada-style seafood are the ideal way to give your visitors a taste of Baja while also relaxing. For any occasion, we offer platters for pick-up or full catering services. People go from all over the world to visit the Romero family’s five various places.

I had such a great experience at Taco Nazo! The food was absolutely delicious! Manuel really stood out with his service. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. The restaurant itself was very clean and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. This is the El Monte outlet of Taco Nazo. This location is quite a good one as it has a drive thru. Taste and quality of ingredients are quite amazing. Fish taco, shrimp taco and Al pastor taco are truly amazing. I had the potato taco before and it is also darn good. Each taco at about $4 each is about double the size of a street taco. Service is quite nice as they pay attention to details.

I am in Cali visiting for work and was told by multiple coworkers to try out Taco Nazo. They met the high expectations and more. My 2 friends and I are pretty “efficient” eaters and ordered 14 tacos and a ceviche. The manager asked if we were from out of town and was interested in how we found out about their restaurant. She was very friendly and brought us some of their amazing fish tacos for being first time customers. The service was awesome, the food was awesome, and even the other patrons were friendly and wanted to talk about how good the food was. I am usually a chicken, beef, al pastore lover at a taco joint. The fish was definitely a hit though. The rest were super good, but something about the fish taco put it above. I love this place. Can we get one in Anchorage, Alaska?

My gf ordered one potato and one fish taco.
For drinks we got agua Frescas; the Jamaica and Piña. Both drinks tastes fresh and really delicious.
Everything was really delicious!!

I absolutely love these fish tacos. Doesnt ever have to be summertime for me to want fish tacos and ceviche! The staff is helpful and courteous. Food is brought to your table, they have tv on so if your watching a baseball game, it may possibly be on.
Their service hasn’t ever disappointed even while having to attend to drive through orders. Restrooms are clean. There is outside seating as well.

These are the best shrimp tacos! I usually go to the other location, but this one is bigger and has a drive-thru. The service has been great during all my visits, the prices are reasonable, and the place is very clean.

I really loved the food. It was my first time eating there and you get a free taco if it’s your first time there. The employees are super nice and the place is clean. The only thing that kept it from getting 5 stars for me was the music was SO loud I couldn’t have a decent conversation with the person I was having dinner with. It was even louder in the outside dining area. We went late and they were getting ready to close, but it still seemed inappropriately loud for a fast food place. Maybe not so bad for a nightclub, but I won’t be taking anyone there I actually want to talk to .
