Regional dishes like tarte flambee served in a lively bar with Alsatian expressions on the walls.

This place was bustling with pack of people, staffs moving around to take orders and serve foods.
We decided to go with Tarte flambée, a flat squared pizza looking food, which is said to be specialty in Alsace. Was very tasty and we all liked it. Not as heavy as pizza, good size, thin and chewy. munster cheeze and onion were flavorful.
We also had Pork Knuckle, nicely roasted, very tender.
We all enjoyed our first dining experience during this travel!
Had the pork medallions and potato from the plat du jour. It was outstandingly good. Compliments to the chef!! I wish I was in Strasbourg longer.
I went there around 11:40, nobody was around, but very friendly and helpful service person.
He kindly explained me the lunch menu in English.
There were starter (something like small version of tarte flambee on salad), main (pork sautée with ratatouille) and dessert (rhubarb cake). Everything was very good (all together it costed €15.90).
You do not need to order everything. You can skip starter or no need to take dessert.
They also have good selection of local beer. I tried two different beers and both of them were very tasty.
I enjoyed the place, lunch and drinks!
Good atmosphere
Good for group
If you’d like, they serve very good brunch during weekends with many varieties of cold and hot food.
Very close to the station so that it is easy to access.
Starting with the bar, the atmosphere is great and it has this rock pub vibes with a very nice decoration. The staff was very friendly, always responsive, ready to help and even letting us taste the beer beforehand and offering us shots on the house.
The food was delicious, we ordered carpaccio with pesto and Parmesan cheese, and a plate of Alsatian delicacies; and when it comes to our orders, we have absolutely nothing to complain about. To drink, we had different beers and even a drink that still gonna be added to the menu “Kneckes on fire”, which was a total banger.
Shout out once again to the staff for doing such a hard job and still being able to entertaining the guests.
We will recommend to all our friends and we will definitely visit again once we are back in Strasbourg
Would come again 🙂
