Taco Tuesday really good; had mushroom, been and potato($1-$2 ea). Also guacamole, chips and light refreshing draft Garage Lime excellent.
2nd visit: OMG been chasing chile rellenos made by family …found this is not only EXCEPTIONAL but can add meat (had grilled Tilapia), refried beans and Spanish rice. Would never of thought fish as option; definitely a MUST have. Portion size is huge but ate it all anyway

Food was good service can use attention. Wait times can improve long wait. We did go on a Tuesday night lots of college students. Kitchen sending out good food but again waitress service can be more inviting. We go back on a different night.

This place is an obvious hidden gem! The wait staff are spectacularly true blue and on point. The tacos are almost as good as the ones from food trucks in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale shores. The ambience is St. Charles Ave. perfect! Also, if you can get the frozen margarita!

Overall we enjoyed Tacos & Beer. It was our first visit. The food was delicious. The salsa and queso had a nice kick. The meat inside the tacos was fresh quality and had good flavor. The prices were unbelievable. In my hometown the tacos are double the price and smaller! I was super impressed by the portions and cost. Service was a little slow, but I think that’s normal everywhere these days. Our server was very nice, just slammed. We’d return again when in NOLA.

Went on a tuesday for the first time & the atmosphere is bright & high energy! Service was quick but the food did come out a little slow, seemed to be that way for everyone. Harliegh and Carmen made sure to take care of me & recommend their favorite drinks. If you are in the area for Mardi Gras make sure to stop by

Tacos and beer is the place to go for taco Tuesdays. You get a bang for ya buck; literally. Enjoy a variety of $1 tacos. I had the steak, grilled chicken, and tinga. We were seated upstairs. The floor upstairs is kinda slippery like they just redid the floors or something. But overall a good experience

On Tuesdays, I love it here because it’s one dollar tacos. However, except to wait in a 20+ minute line. I wouldn’t say the food is worth it but the 1 dollar price and tacos (in general) are. The drinks are great and they turn the tables very quickly.
