Been here 5 times, their happy hour is killer. I love the focus on absinthe and absinthe cocktails, and both the bartenders and owners know their stuff and are happy to guide you towards a drink you might like whether you’re a novice or a long time absinthe enjoyer.

I love the absinthe drip, Jade 1901 is wonderfully complex. Favorite cocktail on happy hour is probably the old Cuban, but death in the afternoon (champagne and absinthe) is an easy go-to. And those milkshakes…

For the food, highlights would be the Mac and cheese (gruyere and gran padano ), the charcuterie board, and the burger. I think the only distinct miss I had was the croque madame, the flavor wasn’t there and somehow the fries weren’t as good as when I got the burger. Everything else is great, rabbit terrine is nice for a light bite

This place was such a treat. Patrick, our server, brought real warmth to the night. He walked us through everything, answered our basic questions without any attitude, and made us feel comfortable the whole time.

The food was excellent and full of flavor. The atmosphere made it feel like a special night out without trying too hard.

If you want great food, a beautiful setting, and service that actually cares, this is the spot.

Very awesome place deserving of a better rating. Food is very excellent and the drinks are great. Happy hour is underrated and everything on the happy hour menu is fantastic. Patrick really took care of us with fantastic recommendations on both food and drink. Features relatively rare dishes like veal sweetbreads and quail. The music could be improved on to be better suited to the decor though. More kid friendly than expected. (4yo)

My lady and I came here for happy hour and were treated to excellent service from Ashley who was hosting and serving cocktails were top notch, the Pink Moon was our favorite. The Mac n cheese and tuna tartar were perfect starters, and we split the burger. The house made fries and ketchup really set the bar. We will be back!

My husband took me here for my 40th birthday dinner this evening, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We’ve been wanting to check it out for a while now and I’m so glad we finally did!
We started with the mushroom fritters served with crème fraiche which were delicious! Perfectly fried with a creamy, not too rich, center. We also split the haricot vert salad with green beans, pickled cauliflower, diced tomatoes, sliced almonds, feta and bacon (lardons) which they put on the side as I don’t care for bacon. It’s lightly tossed in a creamy Dijon dressing which complimented very nicely and wasn’t over dressed.
My husband went with wild mushroom and rabbit crepes for his entree which sounded too intriguing to pass up! He described them as French enchiladas! The rabbit has shredded chicken vibes and the moutarde sauce rounded out the dish nicely.
Lastly, I had the duck confit with red cabbage, apple & Dijon cream sauce. Absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this dish! But here’s the part that took it to the next level… I broke my elbow 6 days ago on my dominant side and cutting my food has been a bit tricky. The chef deboned my duck for me making it much easier for me to enjoy my meal! He did not have to do that, but he took the extra time to make me comfortable and make it so my husband didn’t have to disrupt his dining experience in order to do it for me. Chef, I hope you see this review, it was greatly appreciated! Thank you for going above and beyond!
All in all we were very impressed with the quality of food, the care and the service! I look forward to a return visit and trying more their beautiful menu!

I’d give 5.1 stars if I could! So glad we found these guys as they are a rare breed of true craft cocktail bar, w delicious French fare w just the right amount of Tejas twist to make them truly unique n the dining landscape. We got extra lucky and dropped n on a monday when they offer all-day happy hour on select drink and food offerings, so of course we had to add dessert after taking advantage of this great deal. The food was fabulous and some folks could actually each get their own salad then share an app and an entree as they salads are very generous, fresh and delicious w not too heavy dressings. Our dishes were creative and savory and brought out piping hot. I will definitely be back here to explore there not to big of a menu as they had soooo many delicious looking unique dishes. Great service by the way! PS- this is a cool old repurposed building which I loved to see…more folks should do that.

Peché has become one of my absolute favorite spots in Austin — I’ve been here many times, and every visit is a pleasure. The menu is full of gems, but a few dishes always stand out for me. Their escargots are consistently excellent, prepared with just the right touch that makes them rich yet delicate. The bone marrow is nothing short of perfection — if you’re someone who appreciates true culinary delicacies, it’s a must-try.
I also can’t get enough of their bouillabaisse, which is flavorful and comforting, and the pasta with peas, which may sound simple but is done so beautifully that it becomes unforgettable.
Beyond the food, the service is amazing — professional, attentive, and warm without ever feeling overbearing. The ambiance ties it all together: elegant, cozy, and inviting, making every dinner feel special.
If you’re looking for a place in Austin that combines exceptional food, thoughtful service, and a wonderful atmosphere, Peché is the place. Highly recommended!

Best happy hour in town. Cocktails are phenomenal. Walker took care of us last night and he makes the best cocktails. Best bees knees I’ve ever had. French 75 was excellent and so beautifully presented. Love the atmosphere for date night. Escargot, mac and cheese, and Caesar salad were great! We’ve been here multiple times before and ordered the burger and rabbit pasta, rabbit pate, and beet salad which were all delicious

Cute pub atmosphere with a fantastic selection of liquor, especially whiskey. Kind service and tasty bites if you order french fries, bring an army. The bowl of french fries is larger than most fully grown pumpkins. Definitely get the lamb loin, that thing is unbelievable.

My boyfriend and I had the absolute best dining experience at Péché in Austin! The vibe was cozy and romantic—perfect for a date night.

We started with a couple of mock-tails, and even without the alcohol, they were incredibly crafted and full of flavor. For food, we shared the mac ‘n’ cheese (so rich and creamy—definitely a must), the Ibérico pork, and the grilled beef tenderloin. Every single bite was to die for. The quality, flavors, and presentation were just exceptional.

Highly recommend Péché for anyone looking to impress on a date night or just enjoy a phenomenal meal. We’ll definitely be back!
