Such a cute Mexican restaurant. I love the feel with all the great decorating. El toro has been around a long time. That’s how you know they are good. I love the chips and salsa, their platters you can order for party’s and I just found a new shrimp dish I really loved. I forgot to write down the name but I will include a photo here. My husband loves that they have alcohol

The food was delicious and the presentation was awesome. Our server was super attentive, timely with refills and just a kind and professional young lady. So sorry I didn’t catch her name.
For most of our party of 8 it was our first time there and definitely not the last.
I loved the decor, the beautiful chairs and all the art on the wall.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great portions and delicious food. I have been coming here as a regular for many years. After trying about 90% of their menu, there really isn’t anything that will disappoint. Highlights include the Chili Colorado with its amazing sauce, Pollo Cilantro with its grilled chicken that has the perfect marinade, Cocktail de Camarones or shrimp cocktail in a huge goblet, or many others. Highly recommended.

This place is always busy so be prepared for a wait. We had reservations but they still were slow getting our table ready. Our food took much longer than we’re used to but when it finally came it was well worth the wait. My arroz y pollo dish was excellent! My wife really liked her taco salad, and others in our party loved their dishes as well (enchiladas, carne asada). Ileana was very helpful and took good care of us, along with her myriad helpers. We never had to ask for drink refills or more chips and salsa. The staff sang for my daughter’s birthday and brought us some free sopapillas which was nice. I took home enough from my dinner to have a full meal today of leftovers. It was as good today as it was in the restaurant. I will definitely return!

I’ve been wanting to eat here for a while so we finally made it happen. The portion size was huge! The taste was decent. There are places I like better in the Salt Lake/South Jordan areas but I’m glad we tried it. I got the Toro Viejo and my husband got a chimichanga. He liked it but said it was SO MUCH tortilla. It was a fun night out when we were in Logan.

My green chili chicken enchilada was delicious. Great service. I liked the decor. Nice that it wasn’t too noisy. We waited half hour on a Friday night at 6. We should have put our name on the online wait-list. Nice that they have senior menu items as well as a kids menu.

This is the first time we have eaten here and everything was phenomenal. Food was awesome and the portions were large. The artwork was bright and fun, the resteraunt has a great overall atmosphere. It was clean and tidy very impressive. The service was excellent, we came in the middle of a shift change. Both of our waitresses were knowledgeable, polite and helpful.

Our party of seven was quoted a wait time of about 45 minutes and that was pretty accurate. I was delighted that as we were seated, there were already several baskets of chips and bowls of salsa on our table along with full water glasses and menus. Our server quickly took drink orders then came back for entree orders promptly. She was very busy but our order was accurate and timely once submitted to the kitchen. There were roaming wait staff filling our water glass consistently and the food was so delicious! Each member of our party loved what they ordered. The portions were great; some of us took a small amount home while others finished their plates but everyone was stuffed in the end. This was my first visit there and I’ll definitely be back in town as we visit family in the future!
