We visited Pier 62 at the Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier on a very windy afternoon. The end-of-pier tiki bar tavern was closed due to weather, but the main restaurant was open and the ocean views were excellent.

Unlike many Florida piers that are city-owned, this entire pier structure and restaurant are privately owned and operated by Westgate, which gives the experience a cohesive and well-maintained feel from the entrance all the way out over the water.

We came specifically for the Florida Gator Melt, a pier exclusive made with local gator tail. I added pepper jack and avocado, which balanced the spice well and made for a flavorful, well-constructed sandwich. We also tried the Killer Key Lime Pie, made in true Key West fashion with egg yolks, condensed milk, and Nellie & Joe’s Key Lime Juice in a graham cracker crust. Classic, tart, and authentic.

Our server, Galina, was not only attentive but genuinely witty. She had a quick sense of humor and felt like my twin in conversation. She shared that she is from Kazakhstan, which by land area is the ninth largest country in the world. That unexpected bit of geography added personality to the experience.

Between the ocean views, the historical anchor display on the pier, strong food, and lively service, it was a memorable stop in Cocoa Beach.

Had lunch here and we loved our experience. Service was great and super quick. The views are fantastic and food was decent for the price. We had the pulled pork sandwich and the gator melt. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious and the meat actually quite good. The sauce wasn’t my personal favorite but still good. The fries were fantastic however and we ended up ordering an extra side since we had gotten the pasta salad with the gator melt. The gator melt was alright but probably would do a burger next time. I did get a frozen margarita which was pretty weak and at $14 definitely overpriced but your paying for the view.

We had an amazing experience at Pier 62 Oceanfront Restaurant & Bar. Between the drinks, appetizers, and full meals, everything was consistently great. We stopped in multiple times during our trip for both lunch and dinner and were impressed every time. The oceanfront views make it even better hard to beat good food with that kind of atmosphere. Definitely a spot we’ll return to next time we’re in town.

Kind of a basic and clean dining area with plenty of seating and lots of windows. We decided to try this restaurant while perusing the pier and beach area before a romantic walk celebrating our “date a versary” of 19 years. The restaurant was not busy, the waitress was pleasant and attentive and the food was okay. He ordered the burger and fries and enjoyed the fries more than anything. I had the California roll sushi. Nice portions but again the food was only “okay”. The views from our position were of the ocean and Beach and were mostly nice if you could look past all of the birds perched and waiting for a handout. Overall I do not recommend.

We had such a wonderful time at this place! Our server Trenton was absolutely fantastic—he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience from start to finish. The food was incredible, with everything tasting so fresh and flavorful. We ordered the Firecracker Bowl and the Carne Asada Bowl, and both were delicious. Honestly, everything about our visit was top-notch. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We had the clam chowder fries, grouper sandwich and fried shrimp with cocktails. All the meals were good, waitress was attentive and provided info on the restaurant’s best meal picks. Walked the boardwalk after we ate. Would come back!

There is a kids menu, but its not posted on the website. Kids chicken tenders, mac & cheese and i believe the waitress said a cheeseburger as well. We ordered the grouper sandwich and kids chicken tenders. The food was great and so was the service/staff. I also had a passion fruit margarita which was awesome. The location is beautiful with indoor and outdoor dining options.

Food overall was good. Paid .50 for extra pickles [got one pickle and 3 skins… any true pickle eater knows this is no Bueno ).

Had to request refills because waiter was doing his own thing for the 45 mins we were there.

Originally was going to be seated as a group of 10, but 5 of us were in an accident and didn’t make it to be served at the same time. The others were paying by the time the other 5 of us got there. Charged us mandatory gratuity for 6+ people (ok, whatever), but then tried to keep the additional almost $8 leftover from me paying in cash, telling me to have a good night and not asking if I even wanted the change. At least the food WAS good.

Food came out lightning fast, everything was delicious. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, my wife had the blackened fish taco, we also had the smoke fish dip appetizer. It was all delicious. Our server was great, no complaints. Definitely recommend. And we’re Jamaicans so we have a taste for flavorful food. So you can trust our pallets.

We stopped by Pier 62 for lunch and couldn’t have picked a better spot. Located right at the end of the pier, the restaurant offers stunning panoramic views of Cocoa Beach all the way to the cruise terminal. Despite a bit of wind and overcast skies (typical Florida weather!), the experience was still fantastic.

Our server greeted us promptly and provided excellent service throughout. We each had a beer and shared the turkey on rye sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. It came with their signature fries, and the portion was more than enough for two people.

No complaints at all, great food, friendly service, and unbeatable views. If I find myself back in Cocoa Beach, I’ll definitely return for another relaxing lunch.
