Dragon house It’s a family-owned business, and that’s what makes it even better. The couple who runs it and their daughter are always there, working hard and making sure customers are taken care of. You can feel the care and dedication they put into both the food and the service.
Great food, great service, and a great family atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality food and a welcoming experience. Definitely one of my favorites!

Stopped here on our way home from vacation. The place was very clean, the food came out hot and cooked very well. It looks like it has been made with good quality and tastes good.)

Food was okay. It was just one person who took my order then cooked. Was a little awkward, but he was extremely friendly. He did not do anything wrong.

On Lankford Highway in Onley, Virginia, the Dragon House is a trip surprise with its no-frills facade. This family-style Chinese restaurant focuses on classic American Chinese dishes. The signature fried rice wok is full of gas, fresh shrimp and crunchy vegetables. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the sesame chicken is wrapped in a sweet-salty sauce and comes with a generous portion of lo mein for two. The waiters are neighborly, and the speed of service is especially friendly to travelers.
The decor is simple but warm – mahogany tables and chairs, Chinese paintings and warm yellow lighting are relaxing. It is especially recommended to try manual fried dumplings and hot and sour soup, the seasoning balance is not greasy, and the price is close to the people (main course about10−15). If it is not enough, the dishes are slightly American, but as a stop on the highway, its cost performance and comfort far exceed expectations. Perfect for family dinners or pack a lone chow mein and go on your way. Next time you pass through the 23418 area, let this “dragon house” add some smoke to your journey.

Food was good but the cheese wontons do not have crab in them, I even asked while ordering if they did or they could put it in for an extra cost and I still got straight cream cheese, no crab, not even green onions.

Must be under new management. Didn’t see any of the faces I’ve been seeing for 30 years. I was really disappointed with the coconut shrimp. Only half the amount and very little coconut dressing on them. They have also changed the egg rolls. No!! Not the egg rolls too. The price went up aswell. We use to have 3 Chinese restaurants. Now we only have two. China Chef and Happy Buffet. So sad when that happens. Hopefully they will see the errors of their ways and get things right.

I was very pleasantly surprised. Always went to China Chef’s or Happy Buffet but this will be added as a definite go to. The shrimp toast was hot and crispy and so good. My favorite thing so far. We had cashew chicken – very good; sesame shrimp – good. Going to try more things. They are 5 star for cheap chinese take out.

The new people came and messed up the chicken wings recipe!! These were the only wings I would buy for years now! I will no longer be eating here. The wings are unseasoned now and nothing about them gives Chinese wings! They have raised the prices and are giving less food. BRING THE OLD PEOPLE BACK!!
