Riverside public house that used to be Dewey’s. It’s got the same charm as the old Dewey’s, but the food is way better now. When we first walked in, they sat us down at a back table pretty fast. The wait staff was super respectful and attentive, but unfortunately, we got there a bit late so they were only serving appetizers and pizza.

While at the table the ambience was very relaxing and our table was clean. We ordered the pig pie and some wings, this may be controversial but I feel that the wings and pizza probably are the best in the area right now. Would definitely recommend

Great place for a beer and a meal. I had a chicken sandwich that was really good. And I tried a bite of the pig pie (pizza with bacon, pepperoni and sausage, I think, drizzled with hot honey) SO GOOD!! It may have been a special, and if so, it should go on the regular menu! Others at the table had various seafood items that they liked (I don’t eat seafood, so I can’t comment on that). Good beer selection too. Our server, Rachael was amazing! Friendly and efficient. Will definitely come back again!

This place is fantastic! We went to listen to music, the place was completely packed! We got a table with no wait, the service was fast, and the food was outstanding! The fish tacos were delicious, and I must say, I believe that was the best pizza I have ever had! Also had plenty of non alcoholic options. We will definitely be back….alot!

Five stars are not enough for this gem! The freshest food – you can taste the difference here. From the salad to the fish tacos to the prime rib I’d give this 10 stars if I could. And definitely leave room for dessert because it does not disappoint. Service was phenomenal – quick, friendly and the atmosphere was great. It’s no wonder this place is packed out the door.

Hiking the Appalachian Trail and this place is right along it. The burger was delicious and cooked exactly how I wanted it. The BBQ Chicken Pizza was also really good. Beer and mixed drinks as well. The strawberry cream cake with whipped cream and ice cream was a really good dessert. The waitress was very nice. They provide a military discount which is much appreciated.

Amazing place to stop and eat, great atmosphere. The staff is friendly. The food changes weekly and is amazing. Occasionally they have wine dinners with pairing and its amazing. I highly recommend this place. Craft beers on tap and in cans. Martinis are spot on! Great views across the street.

Great place in Dalton MA. Right off The Main Street. The best part is the beer menu. Just sit at the bar and browse the list of beers. They have beers on tap and in bottles/cans. Unusually stuff you might not be able to find elsewhere. Friendly staff and cool atmosphere. The place clears out early so lots of time to sit and enjoy a drink and snack.

The food here deserves five stars. A few of the specials have frankly been some of the most thoughtful and well-prepared meals we’ve had in the Berkshires, hands down. Even ordinary sounding appetizers — like tomato soup — can be surprisingly delicious. Compliments to the chef on all of that. My favorites off of the regular menu include the cauliflower crust pizza and the Caesar salad. In addition, the bar is well-stocked and makes very competent and enjoyable drinks. 🙂

The service can sometimes be a bit spotty — we’ve had really great experiences at Dewey’s and not-so-great ones. The varnished wood tables and chairs and general atmosphere is relaxed and bright. Locals come here to spend time with family and friends, and regulars feel at home. Those visiting the area — like we were years back — may feel a bit like outsiders at someone else’s party. I think that’s probably true of many restaurants and bars in small towns. But once you settle in, the vibe is very low key and friendly.

They also do a great job with takeout, and there is ample free parking along the street and nearby lots after hours.

Lastly, all of this comes at we think is a reasonable price…which means a lot to us in today’s world.

We got seated quickly, and had our order taken quickly, then we waited for almost an hour for food. 1 plate came out(there were 3 of us)1st plate was cold and burned on the bottom. The other 2 plates came out and they were cold too. Very disappointed, would not recommend.
