Had the most amazing experience here last night. The lasagna is an absolute MUST! So much flavor. The arancini was very delicious too as well as the carbonara pasta and cacio e pepe. The tiramisu flambé was a great way to end our dinner along with the vanilla soft serve. Serge was a fantastic server and Robin was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend L’Ardente. I will be back next time I am in DC.

I came some time ago, so the dessert photo I posted may be swapped with something else. It was some flavored cake. Presentation was beautiful, I didn’t want to cut into it! Flavors were absolutely delicious. I’d come here again just for the dessert – so colorful, fun, and unique! It really makes you wonder how they make it because when you cut into it, you see the various layers that when combined, make an amazing bite. It was a great way to end the night.

For dinner, I ordered the 40 layer lasagna, which was filling. I’d get it again, but there are many items that looked as good I may try. For appetitizers, we got arinchini which were delicious as well. Overall, great dinner with a beautiful ambiance.

Everything we ordered was excellent.

The Duck Hunt was outstanding. The truffle added a deep, earthy richness that elevated the dish without overpowering it. The arancini was perfectly crisp on the outside, moist and cheesy on the inside, with a spicy sauce that tied everything together beautifully. We also really enjoyed the lasagna, which was comforting and delicious. The polpo was incredibly tender, and the olives in the sauce helped cut through the richness, keeping the dish well balanced and not too heavy.

Definitely looking forward to coming back to try more dishes.

The food and service at this restaurant were absolutely outstanding. The flavors of the dishes were impeccable, and the presentation was elegant. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. However, I found the lighting to be quite dim, which made it a bit challenging to see the menu and enjoy the ambiance. Despite this, the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. I particularly enjoyed the duck Hunt ravioli, which was a delightful combination of textures and flavors. The combination of excellent service and delicious food made for a memorable evening. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a top-notch Italian dining experience.

Great food. The mushroom pizza was thin and crispy and the mushrooms very flavorful. We also got the burrata, which was delicious. Got the crostata di mele. A nice quiet atmosphere. It was dark, but I guess that is the vibe is restaurants these days. The service was great and felt pampered. Our waiter was Trey and he gave our table of 6 a lot of attention and fully explained all the dishes.

We had a lovely anniversary dinner at L’Ardente.

We started off with the oysters, caesar salad and gamberi, and they were all delicious. We also tried the grilled octopus and sun-dried tomatoes and olives complimented it so well.

For the main we did the linguine and of course the 40-layer lasagna.

Our server, Ezra, was amazing and so attentive throughout the night. The restaurant was definitely packed when we arrived for our 7:45pm reservation, but by around 8:30/9 the dining room started to clear out and the atmosphere felt much cozier.

We enjoyed a glass of Chianti, so we didn’t get to explore the cocktails this time, and we weren’t able to try the Duck Hunt.. but that just gives us another reason to come back. Absolutely enjoyed it and would definitely return to try more from the menu!

L’Ardente absolutely delivered from start to finish. Every bite felt intentional, crave worthy, and worth the hype.

The Caesar salad was next level, perfectly dressed with that ideal balance of bright, savory, and creamy, plus the kind of crunch that makes you keep going back for one more forkful. The grilled veggies with ginger were a standout too, beautifully charred, vibrant, and elevated by that ginger note that gave everything a fresh little spark. And the 40 layer lasagna, wow. Rich, comforting, and unbelievably silky, with layers that somehow feel both indulgent and refined. It is the kind of dish you will be thinking about the next day.

What really made the night feel special though was the service. Robin, the customer relations manager, was genuinely amazing, kind, and thoughtful. She checked on us and made sure everything was perfect without ever feeling intrusive. Ezra, our server, was just as wonderful. She was attentive, checked on us throughout the meal, gave great recommendations, and kept the whole experience feeling easy and taken care of.

Fantastic food, fantastic people, fantastic experience. I would absolutely recommend L’Ardente and cannot wait to go back.

Had a lovely evening here with my family! Our server, Trey, was incredibly patient, kind, and gave great recommendations. For an appetizer we got the burrata and a prosciutto. Per a gf/df allergy, I got the verde salad, which was beautifully presented and had lots of great flavor. With the apples and avocados it was very filling.

my favorite part was definitely the apple cider sorbet! Not too sweet, refreshing and had a lot of flavor!

Overall, my family had a great time. The noise level/vibe was nicely cultivated, and Trey made our experience by guiding us through recommendations. Def recommend!

our fav was the duck ravioli – it happened to be our first bite of the meal and made us very excited about everything we were going to taste. we got the caesar just to try – it’s good and fine . the octopus and the scallops were very flavorful and interesting, tender and well- composed. i also had a mocktail aeperol (my first mocktail ever) and it tasted like soda, while good – didn’t go well with the meal. any red or white wine would have been perfect.

we got the 40 layer and carbonara – the pasta texture was very good, but the taste was interesting. there was something to the flavor that wasn’t my favorite but i could tell everything was high quality.

we will def be back to try more appetizers and the duck ravioli again

we sat in the dining room near the window and the noise level was fine- we were able to talk, the seats lining the window were not that comfortable however

I went here for a date and was honestly not impressed. I have heard a lot about L’Ardente since I moved to DC and it is definitely an impressive space but I don’t think it lived up to the hype.

We started with the Arancini and Caesar salad. Both were good but neither was unbelievable. I did like how the Caesar was covered in Parmesan.

For dinner we got both the Campanelle Nere and the 40 layer lasagna. Again, both were good but neither was worth the price. You can get really delicious, handmade pasta at Cucini Mornini right across the street. Much better value and taste in my opinion.

L’Ardente does have a cool bar and I absolutely loved the bathroom sign. It would be a fun place to come with a large group but I will spend my date night money elsewhere.
