I dont know what happened to Sonic. I thought it was just the location on Pecan but it seems even a simple slush takes 30 minutes to come even if there’s only 2 vehicles in the lot. Its never been this bad but lately its absolutely unbearable.

So I ordered an Avalanche and a slush, and it took almost 30 minutes to get them. While waiting, I could see the staff walking around looking confused, constantly checking receipts but not making much progress. I even got out of the car to wait by the door, but they wouldn’t acknowledge me. To make things worse it wasn’t even busy at all!! and they served other cars that arrived about 20 minutes after us. All that waiting just for a slush and an Avalanche! Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

Employees spend most of their time outside hanging out, talking and laughing and food takes forever to come out, just to have it come out cold. Seems like this is a hangout spot more than a work environment.

There have been multiple occurrences where my order takes up to 25-30 minutes. (Even simple shakes or kids meals.) I’ve done mobile orders at this location as well, and upon arrival my order still isn’t prepared and takes an additional 15 minutes. There have been a few times where other customers get here after me, and I ordered and arrived before. It seems currently their drive through is out of order, I was there 20 minutes and never received a response. (If your machine isn’t working atleast be thoughtful enough to put a sign to make customers aware.)

It seems that other customers have had a similar experience, and the issue should be looked into.

I always wondered why this place didn’t have much buisness. I came in to take a look for myself. I waited to order at drive thru no one ever answered. I then parked and tried to order finally someone took my order and I literally had to wait 20 minutes to get one burger. It’s a shame such a new place but employees are killing there buisness. Feel sorry for the owner.

A Truly Disappointing Sonic Experience
My recent online order at Sonic was an exercise in frustration and a masterclass in poor customer service. After placing my order…I arrived and inputted my stall# seeing a screenshot confirming it was on its way, I waited. And waited. Ten minutes later, with no sign of my food, I pressed the famous red button. The person who answered was completely unresponsive to my explanation of the situation. More waiting ensued, still with no resolution.
Eventually, I had to go inside to re-explain everything. The employee who opened the door was dismissive, rude, and nonchalant, offering no apology whatsoever. The “manager” (or whoever she called to assist me) displayed an absolute zero-empathy approach to our now half-melted, lukewarm slushies that hadn’t been delivered. There were zero, zip, nada absolutely no apologies or acknowledgement of the inconvenience. This was absolute monstrous customer service.
It’s clear that once the “delivered” button is pressed, the internal timer stops, but that doesn’t excuse failing to actually deliver the order to the customer. I’m genuinely astonished by the lack of respect these employees show their customers and how little they seem to care about the company that employs them.

They forgot my whole burger in my wacky pack had to drive 15 minutes back and asked for my whole meal to be remade so i have my CORRECT ORDER FRESH AND NOT COLD and they said no and offered coupons???? She said “it happens there’s a rush” and that was it. She said she was the manager and i was stuck with cold food while she smiled. $10 order and you couldn’t even do that right.

service was terrible. drive thru was so slow. others that came later get they’re food before you too. Just pure terrible service. maybe you should compensate your customers. or let us know it’s gonna take so damn long.

Waited 15 minutes in drive thru to get overcooked, dry hamburgers. Not good at all. Almost forgot to mention, no ketchup and no napkins in bag either.
