However, the service at the bar was disappointing. The bartender (unfortunately forgot his name) kept bringing our drinks out late, multiple times, while serving others who ordered after us. There were no apologies, and it really affected the experience.
Food: 5 stars – definitely worth trying.
Service: 1 star – poor attention and attitude.
Overall, I’d still recommend this place for the food, but I hope management addresses the bar service.
(Pictures attached). They gave me more stalks of carrots and celery than they did wings. For $14? No way. The fries looked like they were a day old, stale, tasted like styrofoam. Staff was nice enough, atmosphere was cool, but the food was a bad tasting rip-off. Don’t recommend, very disappointed.
Place is decorated in a vintage way for the holidays.
Live music was honestly not the best. Thank God we had a reservation for the Ski Lodge cabin outside.
They have 2 igloo, a small camper and 2 lodge cabin to have a private experience for groups. Ours was the Ski Lodge. Had a heater to keep it warm and cozy. There was a Bluetooth speaker to connect and play your own music. Really nice setting.
Food was surprisingly good. The crab rangoon was absolutely the best I ever had and the chips were so delicious. Boneless chicken had 4 small pieces not enough to share. The sweet potato biscuit had 4 mini and they were ok, wouldn’t order again though. Ordered mozzarella sticks that never came.
For pizza had the Jamaican and El Supremo, both were good. Something will order again.
The server was good but forgot an appetizer and had to remind her of some drinks. Otherwise very friendly and nice.
Outside had more holiday decorations. A nice place to go for drinks and a bite to eat. Parking is challenging.
They also had a very good selection of Bourbon Whisky and several well selected beers on tap.
After a pleasant night of eating and drinking, we decided to order take out pizza from a second night. Again everything was well done. NY style pizza with a crispy crust and excellent distribution of toppings. The ‘El Supremo’ and Four Cheese with added pepperoni and black olives was very good.
Finally, the have three very nice pinball machines tucked in a back room. It has been quite a while since I have seen pinball machines in this fine a shape and only charging $0.75 per play.
The atmosphere is what you make of it. It definitely has the tavern vibe with the bar front and center with seating on either side like most places.
