Our servers attitude was very vanilla. I had the fajita nachos that seem less like nachos and more like peppered steak with melted white cheese (yuck) My kids chicken nuggets taste like old oil and slightly overcooked . The Burrito grande was basic- nothing to write home about. Pina colada was decent. While we assumed we were forgotten about we had to go look for our server- Found our waitress sitting with four other waitresses in a booth on the other side- with only 1 other table of customers .. and it was definitely too slow to let your customers feel forgotten about. The hype comes from the look of the place and the vibe but definitely not the food.

The food is great! My favs are the shrimp ceviche, nachos & soft fish or shrimp tacos. The staff is always friendly but when I call on to place an order I am barely understood so that can be frustrating at times but eventually they get my order and everything is good. The food always comes out super fast so I definitely appreciate that. Definitely try one of their frozen margaritas! They are so good!

I mean the food was alright. Nothing special about it. The hype is more of the look from the outside, you would think it was fancy or something. The inside is plain and basic. It was dead inside the whole time and the waitress disappeared at the end. We had to hunt her down only to find her eating at random table in the cut on the opposite side of the establishment with Don Julio and the gang. My childs chicken nuggets were just the Dino nuggets that is sold Walmart, what i paid for her plate, could’ve just got a box and deep fried them myself and dim sum. The service was dead, waitress had no personality and seemed mentally out to lunch. Overall I had this place saved for a minute and wanted to try it but yea it’s nothing to brag about, I prefer Morilas as the service and food is way better.

Every aspect on point–A-1!! … but was sick as could be later in the evening. Didn’t want to think it was the restaurant UNTIL I chatted with a girlfriend recently and she mentioned that she got sick at this restaurant when she dined. Everything that looks good-aint good. Mojarra Frita, avocado, Pico, rice and refried beans…one or all of those was the culprit. First time eating at this location..smh

This is my first time at this establishment and the service was impeccable. The food was hot and served fresh and understanding 5 minutes. The atmosphere was inviting and welcoming. I highly recommend eating here because the food was fulfilling up to the last bite.

They’ve pegged me for mexican eateries and I’ll say this is at the TIPPYYYYYY TOP of my list BEST DRINK BEST FOOD, most authentic and cultured menu by a milestone!!! The food is sooo good and the flavor is so consistent that I noticed a new chef at one point but that was immediately reverted back to amazingness and I never even complained out loud.

El Patron Cantina is a charming spot perfect for casual dining, whether you’re indoors or out. The outdoor seating was nice, and the interior decor strikes a balance between authentic and upscale, making it feel special without being pretentious. As for the food—simply amazing! I had the birria tacos, which were exceptionally tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. My husband chose the Carnitas Chimi, a unique and delicious entree enhanced by the addition of poblanos (because, really, poblanos make everything better!). If you’re looking for a comfortable environment with a standout meal, El Patron Cantina is your place!
