Food was amazing as always. This time I got the Bacon KimChee Fried Rice, the Teriyaki Garlic Edamame, the Bacon Onigiri and the Teriyaki Chicken skewer.
As last time, the edamame was fantastic.
The Bacon Onigiri was really good, lots of delicious flavor in that piece.
The Teriyaki Chicken Skewer was way more than I was expecting. It came with veggies and stuff! I was expecting just meat on a stick, but this was way better! Chicken was was cooked perfectly. Nice and juicy, but fully cooked.
But the real star of the show was the Bacon KimChee Fried Rice. Holy cow was that good. The spicy and umami flavors worked really well together. And the portion was enough to where I had to finish it the next day. This place has become a go to especially since it is quite close to where I live.

Spicy pork plate, really good. Salad dressing is the bomb. Not always, awesome, but usually pretty darn good. Atmosphere, is a trailer next to the road with small grotto and 3 tables. Miss the hard boiled egg that used to come with the salad

The teriyaki chicken lacked depth, and the miso tofu was cloyingly sweet, with a few bites tasting noticeably musty. Although the prices are reasonable, the food quality didn’t meet expectations. I was looking forward to trying this spot and unfortunately left disappointed.

Quick eats from a quick place. The price is unreal. The taste is fine A usual spot for my nephew. He likes to take me here. I see many people ordering to go. It is a limited seating outdoor Japanese Street Food vibe. Cool. I will always be back. The folks who run the place and work here are diamonds in the rough.

Wonderful vegetarian food! Onigiri is damn good! Extremely excited to have found this place. Has made my top five go to places for food when I don’t feel like cooking. Prices are great, serving size is spot on, and flavor is amazing. Got the tofu and the sweet potato and onion onigiri. Can’t wait to go back!

This is my go to place. I love their rice! The sauce is delicious and they do a great job with their tofu as well. The plate portion is quite filling, I usually can only eat half and then save the other half.
Their are 1-2 people that work the place. Can be a bit of a wait if there are a few people ahead of you but definitely worth the 10-15 min wait. They added a covered seating area to wait, which is very much appreciated 🙂 Another plus, the staff are friendly and easy to talk to.

Absolutely delicious. Kimchi bacon & teriyaki chicken are my favorite. And you can’t go wrong with the chocolate & peanut butter smoothie. Huge plus is that it’s made with almond milk 10/10

First time at this location, but wow!! Seriously so good. The plates are the same as the Pearl St location but I tried the onigiri and it might be a new fave in town! The rice is nice and sticky, the protein flavorful, and the salad is not only super delicious, but also really healthy. The veggies are fresh and the dressing is awesome. Love that it also comes with hard boiled egg and almonds on the side. I’ll definitely be back!

I cannot say enough GREAT things about UME GRILL, the service on top of the food is amazing, they’re so kind, the food speaks for itself if you haven’t tried it you’re missing out! Soup is also 10/10
