Reviews
Sashimi and uni were very fresh except for tuna which was quite mushy. Oysters were smaller than we thought. Chicken don was very tasty and big in portion.
Nigiri and aburi sushi were just okay and not as flavorful as other places we tried.
The one thing we disappointed the most was sushi came with way too much rice which faded out the nigiri flavors.
I really like the Deluxe Chirashi Don, Deluxe Assorted Sashimi, BC Blazer Roll, and the Samurai Aburi roll.
I ordered a few different sushi rolls and a sashimi plate. The fish tasted fresh and the pieces were cut nicely. The rolls had good balance between rice and filling, and the sauces added flavor without overwhelming the fish. Each bite felt fresh and satisfying.
The freshness and craftsmanship make every bite a delight, offering an experience that truly exceeds what you invest.
A must-visit for those who loves sushi.
This is my takeout order, I accidentally shook it a bit, but it looked even better when I picked it up.
Their sushi platters are equally impressive, offering a variety of rolls and nigiri that showcase their attention to detail and commitment to freshness. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just indulging in a love for sushi, Sushi Lovers Richmond knows how to make it memorable. Highly recommend their sushi cake for anyone looking to elevate their next gathering!
Unfortunately, the chicken teriyaki was a big letdown. It was dry, tough, and tasted like it had just come out of the fridge and been microwaved. Pretty much inedible. Based on that experience, I wouldn’t order this bento again.
That said, I’d still come back to try their beef version of the bento and more sushi options. If I do return, I’ll definitely ask how the chicken is prepared — I suspect it’s not made fresh and just reheated.
