Came here for their happy hour. We ordered two beers on tap, 4 HR tacos and a sushi roll and the fried calamari. The fried calamari was good but it’s more like a calamari steak instead of calamari rings. Still very yummy. Their tacos and to sushi were a 3/5 for me. Beers were good tho.

We have been coming here since probably 2019.

Their food has always been great, Albeit inconsistent depending on the day. Weekends were usually more spot on while Mondays and Tuesdays could leave more to be desired.

Has the newly revised seafood stew which was great. Lot of shrimp, clams, and I believe snapper. Great flavor.

Our appetizer was the calamari and shishito peppers. The calamari chunks were the thickest I’ve ever had. Great flavor. I think our plate only had maybe 4 shishito peppers and was primarily calamari.

Stopped here for a pint, didn’t disappoint. Extensive craft draft list with some unique offerings. On the pricier side, so with tax the average pint will be around $10. Big open and airy space when the weather is nice. Staff are young locals, place can get pretty busy, food looked good but didn’t eat.

Truly fantastic Korean Beef Short Rib Grilled Cheese and Short Rib French Dip sandwiches! They offer an amazing array of creative, delicious dishes made with high quality ingredients. The Caesar Salad is superb and not just an afterthought like many places. Compliments to the chef! The service is very good, and there is an excellent range of beer types on tap.

Updated: I can’t get enough of this place with its excellent, unique, and creative food along with great service. The short rib French dip sandwich has super tender and tasty thin beef slices on a fresh soft roll. The calamari is served in a fish stick style with fun toppings and two delicious dips. The brussel sprouts are as good as they get, roasted and covered with an array of goodies including onion strings, blue cheese, dried cherries, and candied pecans.

We only came here for drinks towards the end of the night. The servers were nice. The ambiance screams the town drinking hole/eatery (aka tap house) with an elegant, elevated flavor. We liked it. The whole place has an open feel to it. We ordered the Humboldt Swipe Left Cherry Honey cider and the Stone Brewing Buenaveza Salt and Lime Lager (this is my husband’s favorite beer, so if an eatery had it, he always gets it). The cider was good. The lager was good. We sat there for about half hour and enjoyed the quiet. We will come back for food.

Cool place, the vibes are nice. Staff is super friendly too! The Skinny Thoughts cocktail is really good! I got the 60/40 chorizo beef burger to go and was surprised it came with fries! I was even MORE surprised when I found out they were GARLIC FRIES. Yes, you heard me. GARLIC. FRIES.

And they were everything you’ve ever wanted. The burger has a great kick to it, good flavor. 10/10 would recommend

I’ll be back!

We came for our weekly new spot to try for Lunch 4/7/25 and we chose this beautiful restaurant.
I have drove by so many times and never actually stopped . But today was the day ❤️
We had to try the Mac and cheese with the fried chicken on top and it was so creamy and crunchy. Definitely try this you won’t be disappointed. We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air and the sun ☀️
Jessica was our waitress and she was so kind and attentive.
We will be back

Excellent food and drink selection. Large burgers, fresh ingredients. They were also happy to accommodate our modifications like lettuce wrap for the burger and bacon on the side for Brussels sprouts. Awesome fish stew, very light and fresh with shrimp, clams, and salmon in a light, slightly creamy base with fresh herbs, and naan bread. Brussel sprouts were crispy and great flavor. Burger was cooked as requested.

Service was a slow, and our waitress may have lost our order because larger parties seated near us were served significantly before us. But she didn’t say anything. It was a disappointment, but she seemed to be more than a server (possibly an owner) so it wasn’t treated as-if it was a problem and said nothing.

Very busy all the time. Very loud inside so it was hard to talk. Cannot make reservations online. They only take reservations if you can catch them by phone. Don’t call and leave a message they ignore those. Otherwise you’re on the manual queue when you check-in at the hostess station.

Also small parking lot next to the building (~25 spots), but may have to find street parking.

Can recommend for the food alone it was worth the wait, if you’re not in a hurry!

My husband and I live in South Oceanside and have been eating at LTH since it opened in 2014. We love to support local business’ and enjoy seeing local business’ succeed and flourish. However, during our last few visits (Sept- ’25- Feb. ’26), the service has been severely lacking- understaffed, no clear flow to the dining room, hostesses on the door don’t know how to greet/speak to people, bar is slow to serve drinks, and food so hot, we know it was heated up in a microwave- as was Udon Noodles tonight. It took 40 minutes for us to get a beer on tap and a seltzer water…I went up to bar to ask for drinks, after 40 minutes. It took 1.5 hours to get Udon noodles and one salad with salmon. Sad to report that we will be looking for a new place to eat.

Went to LTH with my wife and kid to have brunch that they stop serving at 11am for some idiotic reason. Then after my wife asked for the avo toast sandwich, the waitress charged us $3 for the salad that was supposed to come with the meal. Then we were charged $2 for for the Aioli sauce that again said it came with it.
I paid for it because I didn’t care to deal with the back and forth haggle. However the prices will keep me away and this experience didn’t help.
