Dessert craving after our dinner nearby brought us here. The store has ample space inside and offer a variety of seasonal flavors. We got strawberry, coconut chocolate almond, cookies and cream, and vanilla scoops. The ice-cream was delightfully creamy and indulgent!! Absolutely wonderful flavors. We relished our time here.

I absolutely love this place! They’ve got such unique and fun flavors (like wasabi!), but also plenty of classics like cheesecake and cookies & cream if you’re feeling something familiar. The quality of the ice cream is top-tier—super creamy and flavorful.
They also serve coffee and even offer pints to-go, which is perfect if you want to stock up at home. Service is always fast and friendly, even when the line is out the door (which happens often—and for good reason!).
Definitely one of my go-to spots. Highly recommend!

Visited today and tried their cookie and cream and a scoop of cheese cake ice cream. Both were absolutely delicious—creamy, rich, and packed with generous chunks of cookies. The cafe itself was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was inviting, with a cozy and vibrant environment that made it a perfect spot to enjoy a treat. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving a great ice cream and a wonderful ambiance!!

A delicious and delicate rotating menu of ice creams and sorbets. We love that they have dairy free options. So here’s the thing, some of the flavors are a little funky, but that is what makes this funky ice cream shop perfect for a funky town like Bellingham! You can really taste that the ice cream is artisanal, and the staff is the cherry on top of the sundae… the ice cream sundae.

It’s charming, just a little off-theme if you think too hard about it.

What a great ice cream shop. It’s kind of like a less snooty Salt & Straw, with unique, often chaotic flavors that challenge your ice cream expectations.
The best flavors I tried are the squash with squash cake, the hojicha, and the peanut butter brownie. They also have some really good homemade hot fudge. My recommendation is to come hungry and/or with a friend and get a flight of 4 flavors plus some hot fudge on the side.
If you’re dairy-free, they have half a dozen or so non-dairy options. They’re also uniquely flavored but it would be nice to have some dairy-free options that aren’t just sorbet.
A couple things to be aware of: they limit you to three samples per person and they don’t make their own waffle cones. But hey, you can’t win ’em all. Swing by Mallard for a scoop of something strange.

We were in town for a wedding and decided to try some local ice cream. This place was fantastic! Every other town seems to have their own local favorite, and I have been to a few, but this one stands out!!
Friendly and helpful staff, a fun vibe, and the standout was delicious and interesting ice cream flavors, plus the option of half-scoops for us ‘indecisives’!! I just wish I had one of these where I live.
Big props to the staff for keeping the lights on so late during the summer!

This is a great little ice cream shop! The indecision scoop is such a great idea, there were so many unique flavors that it was hard to narrow it down, we’ll definitely have to come back. The decor is really fun as well and the cashier was very helpful and friendly. There’s a lot of seating options and they also have a shelf full of board games.
