We visited a few months ago for lunch, and it was such a coincidence to find this place in the plaza — it had actually been recommended to me before. Of course, we had to go in.

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. They greet you when you walk in and when you leave, which I really appreciated. Honestly, it took us longer to look at the menu and decide than it did for the food to arrive — everything came out so quickly and efficiently.

We ordered the corn ribs and the signature ramen, and both were incredible. For dessert, we tried the sesame cheesecake — a bit exotic, but delicious. Even my baby loved it!

The only thing I wouldn’t personally do again is pair soda with ramen — that was just my choice. Other than that, it was a great experience.

The food tastes very good. The broth is rich and the noodles are thick and stretchy (pardon my lack of descriptive words). I personally like the signature ramen over the garlic one. The restaurant is on a smaller size so wait time can be long. Service was great. Servers were attentive to our needs.

Mensho is absolutely incredible! The ramen was so delicious and rich in flavor; truly some of the best I’ve had. Beyond the food, the atmosphere and service were fabulous. We had to wait outside for a little bit, but the line moved fast and we were seated quickly. Our waiter was super nice and took the time to explain the menu and ensure we had everything we needed. I will definitely be coming back again!

Food:
-Signature Ramen: The first bite had such a deep flavor that makes you forget about all the other ramen places you’ve tried. The broth was perfect – rich and creamy without being overpowering (I did not feel big back after this), AND it didn’t separate into those clear and cloudy looking broths elsewhere – perfectly emulsified. The noodles were the perfect thickness and chewiness…god…makes me excited for Japan

Portion was just right with way more meat than other places, and I didn’t have excessive amounts of noodles or broth leftover because the bowl was so well balanced. The meats were also all very tender and not dry at all.

-Matcha Kinoko: on its own, the fried mushrooms did taste good and were crispy (they stayed crispy throughout my entire meal as I was eating my ramen) but did not have much seasoning, so I was ALMOST let down until I dipped them in the matcha powder. Very faint matcha flavor with the perfect amount of salt and made the appetizer soo good. I felt like it was very intentional. The slight oiliness helps the salty matcha powder stick at the right places.

Service: everyone was kind, the wait is just kinda brutal.

10/10 couldn’t think of what could make my meal better. I normally don’t pick up my bowl/plate at a restaurant, but I picked it up and finished the broth the second time I went (2 days later).

Best ramen I ever had in my entire life! The noodles had a nice texture with creamy broth! The ingredients were also super fresh! I had the Vegan Garlic Knockout ramen, and it tasted delicious! My friend had Classic one, and she also loved it! I will definitely comeback to try different ramen! Just be prepared for a little wait outside- but definitely worth it!

This place is small and cozy, and it’s always busy but somehow we always manage to get a table.

The staff are super friendly and the food comes out fast. They also take the time to ask if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, which I really appreciated. We asked for no pork, and they made sure none of the dishes had any — even suggested swapping the pork in the Signature Ramen for chicken or duck. That kind of attention makes a big difference, it showed how much they actually care about their service.

They’ve got a great mix of ramen options. Chicken, duck, wagyu beef, pork, and even a couple of vegan ones. My friend and I tried the Signature Ramen and the Vegan Garlic Knock Out. The Signature was insanely creamy and flavorful (my friends opinion). He also said that this Ramen is easily one of the best he has ever had. I do believe him because the Vegan Garlic Knock Out had a nice spicy kick that worked perfectly with the creamy broth. We also got a side dish, fried fish (forgot the name of the dish) it tasted fresh and well seasoned.

10/10 would recommend. Definitely coming back to try more of the vegan options next time!

Good vibes all around been going to tigers den near here for a long time and decided to try something new and head here. Service was great, food was even better. The signature soup was very rich and creamy and the takoyaki had very tender and large octopus chunks. The Texas BBQ ramen bowl tasted like it was straight from the Texas rodeo and had a super smokey and delicious broth. Overall I will be going here from now on.

My fav ramen place hands down! There is a reason why this place is always popping. They have a lunch menu which is easier to eat there during lunch. The dinner menu is much better but usually there is a long line. The area it’s in is challenging to find parking. The inside is a typical ramen place it’s a bit smaller than some ramen places because I think they’re going off of like a Japan style with sitting at the “bar”. The servers were attentive and asked if there were any food allergies right off the bat. I’ve been here twice already and love the signature ramen it is so flavorful with all the ingredients in it. It doesn’t cost as much as any other typical ramen spots because of all the toppings you get. I believe this place is also Michelin starred. This place is a must try if you love ramen. they used thick noodles and the meats inside of it just blends perfectly with the broth. I also tried their Enochi chips which is like a crunchy fried mushroom. You really can’t even tell it’s a mushroom it was more like a crunchy tempura type of side. It came with a side of some spicy powder which wasn’t spicy. To be honest I threw in the enochi chips into my
Ramen just to give it some more crunch and that actually worked out!

This was the first time ever I was trying Japanese Ramen & I am glad I chose Mensho which is Michelin Recommended for Ramen. My experience was fantastic from being instantly seated & then guided through the dinner by our wonderful server Agnes, who was knowledgeable, caring, friendly, enthusiastic & carried a happy infectious energy. Agnes strongly recommended G.K.O. Ramen & we loved it. Supremely delicious, large portion size & it lived up to its Michelin recommendation. Their staff in a unified voice greets every single person in Japanese when they enter the restaurant & also bids goodbye in Japanese when you leave, which is a really nice gesture. This place is extremely popular as it was chockablock even late on a Tuesday evening. Weekends I am told it’s not easy to get a table. I will return soon to try their Signature Ramen.

Men Sho absolutely delivered. I had the Wagyu ramen and the chicken karaage, and both were exceptional. The tare in the ramen was beautifully layered — deep, savory, and perfectly balanced. It gave the broth this incredible complexity without overpowering it, adding that signature umami backbone that keeps you going back for another spoonful.

The wagyu itself was the highlight. It had this rich, creamy, almost nutty flavor that melted into the broth and elevated the entire bowl. Every bite felt indulgent but still refined — not heavy, just deeply satisfying.

The chicken karaage was crispy, juicy, and seasoned just right — a perfect contrast to the ramen. Between the flavor depth, quality ingredients, and thoughtful execution, this was easily a five-star experience. Can’t wait to come back.
