We tried this place for lunch and had a good experience. We had a group of 8 split up between 2 tables on the covered patio. The chips and salsa were tasty. The salsa has a nice kick to it, but not overwhelming. My daughter enjoyed her quesadilla with rice and beans. My wife tried the shredded beef taco salad. The portion size was huge and it had great flavor. I tried the rolled quesadillas. It came with six tasty pieces. The service was good and the staff were friendly.

El Rincon is such a charming find! The decor and the setting are beautiful, making it a great spot to relax. I was impressed by how fast the service was, even though they were busy. The food was flavorful and fresh—definitely a high-quality meal in a lovely environment.

From the outside this place looks nice. Appealing and comfy. Once you get inside, staff seems stressed and unorganized. Their food has great possibilities and ideas but the chef is not executing properly. The chimichanga’s have many choices of combinations of fillings that sound yummy. I had the short ribs with tomato but was too dry but tasted good. Seating is very crowded inside and outside seating isn’t much better. Won’t be coming back. Too many other choices that deserve the same chance.

We had a great time here and really enjoyed our food and the atmosphere. Such a beautiful area to stroll in before or after dinner as well.

El Rincon has been around since 1976 (almost 50 years), so obviously they’re doing something right.

I highly recommend this spot, especially for the bean and cheese chimichanga—it was delicious! As a vegetarian, I found the menu options to be excellent. We also tried the spicy mango mocktail, which was unique and totally worth it.

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating for our party of eight, making sure our vegetarian dietary restrictions were handled perfectly. Great food and even better service!

Vibrant Mexican Restaurant. If you arrive later in the evening they have music playing outside. The restaurant was busy; had open tables but we still ended up waiting 15 minutes to be seated. The tamales and rellenos were homemade so we wanted to try them and ordered the combo dinners. The plates came out hot but the cheese in the relleno wasn’t melted and the tamale wasn’t hot. We ordered premium margaritas which seemed to be missing the tequilla…. Service was ok.

The staff was welcoming and attentive. Moses ensured we had everything and very quickly. My friend and I absolutely enjoyed our afternoon lunch here and would come back again the next time we’re in this area. I love how dog friendly this restaurant and the area are. Thanks for a lovely experience

The food was good but, we’ve had better. If you don’t have super high expectations its pretty good food, salsa and chips.
But the Flan was phenomenal!! So definitely save room for that!
I had the carne asada quesdilla. Delicious bit a little greasy. My husband had machaca burrito with rice and beans. Desert was Flan so very good
We had drinks, margarita and tequila soda. We alsibordered some queso dip and HOT salsa (had to ask for it).
Service: was excellent
Atmosphere: Small inside but they have outside seating also.
Food: was good.
I would go back again.
Our waiter Javier was very nice and checked on us regularly to make sure everyone’s needs were taken care of. He also made sure our cups were always full of water or otherwise. We also had margarita and a tequila soda.
By the time we got done it was $121.. WHAT????
Oh well it was good and we would probably go back..

I had a genuinely good experience here. While the plates were all expensive, the quality and quantity of each one almost matched the prices.

The carne asada was very well seasoned and cooked. It wasn’t too chewy, nor too dry, and they also give you a substantial amount.

The flavors mingled very well together and it was very filling. If I lived in Sedona, this would likely be my go to Mexican restaurant.

If you want good service do not sit outside, you will be forgotten about.
I had tilapia fish tacos and they were not that flavorful.
The service was good when we first entered then we had to keep looking for help. We took the bill to the counter.
Am sure the other meat options are great but there was not much vegan variety hence the tilapia fish
