Stopped by here randomly to start of our day with a good meal and it did not dissapoint.
The menu was extensive but somehow my wife and I both landed on chicken fried steak and eggs. It was fantastic and the portion was large.
The service was good, not a lot of extra small talk but attentive and excellent!

Went to CJs for breakfast and was delighted to hear there was no wait. Our server was over rather quickly and we ordered everything at once because we were in a bit of a rush. This didn’t seem to save us much time but she had other tables to tend to.
I ordered the poached eggs with avacado and upon first inspection they seemed fine. Everything tasted good but I realized it was just scrambled eggs with avacado on top and hollandaise sauce. This was a bit disappointing especially since the meal was above 20$. Overall, another mid hotel restaurant for double the price of a normal meal.

In the name of Claim Jumper, this restaurant might Claim this location as their most fitting place of business. Inside the Golden Nugget hotel alongside the Saltgrass Steakhouse. All of which share and uphold the nostalgic rustic westerner design. A contributing theme of the 1849 Gold Rush.
Perhaps brought together by the reoccurring theme of challenges sucessful businesses share. Once any venture yields Gold, the real challenge is in protecting their stake. No pun on their deliciously preserved steaks. As I wonder and appreciate how their food is served continously fresh.
Although some pun on the chosen name which defines those who illegitimatly attempt to occupy or steals the rights of other people’s stake in land. A time when the west was wild with lawlessness. Prosperous people reqired special kind of protectors. A team of writers that worded and shared the prospectors story. Their promised rightfulness as well as the wrongdoings they were seved. A term known as 49ers or pony riders. I’m today’s state of war, those willing volunteers are called journalists. There are currently 59 people. All of which remain in that special state. A term sometimes referred to as Prisoners of War.

We were walking around looking for some dessert at about 10pm. Alot of places were closing but claim jumper was open til 11pm.

Came in town for Valentines day with the wife. Went to claim jumper to eat. We haven’t never been so decided to give it a try. The food was good but the service was amazing and thats a big plus for me. Our hostess that sat us-, was Elise. She was very nice, polite and had great customer service skills. We encounter a slight problem and the Manager Jasmine was very nice too and handle the problem with great management skills, went out her way to make sure we had a pleasant experience. I would recommend mean this place, especially due to the service.

Great experience. Expected to wait but got right in and waited on immediately. We’re Claim Jumper fans so having one in the Golden Nugget was a nice surprise. It was our first time ordering breakfast at a Claim Jumper but it was fantastic; especially impressed with the scrambled eggs. They were delicious! The service was professional and on point.

The food here was delicious. The service was outstanding. The restaurant is kept very clean. Despite all of the action it is a quiet place to regroup. It is close to all of the action in the old area of Vegas but thriving with the Fremont Street Experience right around the corner. It is easy to find using Google Maps.

What a treat¡!¡!!!! This is a vegas ICON. Not only in flavor and pricing, but one of the oldest restaurants in vegas! Do yourself a flavor and eat here. Raquel, our waitress was prompt, friendly, and made some great suggestions. I had the ribeye, she had the homemade chicken pot pie. My steak was cooked perfectly, and what I was hoping for. The pot pie is from a recipe from the 1970s, and reflects a wonderful trip back to my mom’s kitchen. It’s that good. Easily earned ##Nofeardining. GREAT FREEMONT VALUE!!!!

Above average comfort food. The staff is super friendly. I came on a non-busy time on Saturday at around 4:30pm.
Today i ordered the chicken sandwich. It was delicious. I highly recommend this sandwich.
Also, on my next trip, i got the tri-tip dip. That was better than i expected. Super tender marinated beef, and the french bread was soft and fresh.
Big spacious dining room.
My next trip inhad the turkey club sandwich and fries. Pretty good and the fries were crispy.

Great food great service great atmosphere. You are welcomed the minute you walk in. Menu is limited but options are great the chicken hickory is to die for, highly recommended. The hotel has an amazing pool with shark tank a slide that goes through the tank amazing. Plenty of entertainment around and excitement highly recommended. Price is normal parking everywhere.
