Great lunch place to celebrate hiking up the trail. Food was good, the beer was cold, the staff was responsive. the best part is the view over Juneau… beautiful on a sunny august day.

Shockingly delicious bar and restaurant. The views are incredible from the front and back, has fantastic beer, including beer flights and the food is delicious. Definitely check out their bread bowl soups that they have, and also they’re black and tall, but is fantastic. Grab yourself a flight of beer and have a lunch here before you head out on the trails. It’s definitely worth your while.

An breath taking view of Juneau can be had atop this mountain. I took the tram car up the mountain. It was $50/adult and $40/child. The ride was only a few minutes . At the top of the mountain was an awesome hike. The area entrance also had a gift shop, art gallery and restuarant.

Nice views. And a trail loop at top. Recommend looking at the map ahead of time to judge your ability to walk the entire loop. Parts of it may be challenging for some with mobility limitations. But it’s not too difficult for most.

We lucked out with a beautiful day! Absolutely perfect views! We did a loop trail that is definitely not reccomended for everyone. Some very steep areas, uneven terrain, and slippery mud and snow patches. But if you’re stubborn enough, you can do it with a brand new knee and a fee helpers, just be sure to let others pass and go slow.

The tram ride was great and the restaurant was nice place to have a drink and overlook the city. Would’ve been five stars but the only downside was the cost. I understand you’re on vacation you’re in Juneau you’re going to pay a little bit more especially when you have a captive audience. While my wife’s beer was seven dollars which was understandable my fountain soda in a glass reusable container was four dollars. It probably cost them $.20 to dispense. I thought that markup was a little much. I didn’t that a good experience.

The tram ride up 1,800 feet from the shore was smooth, and the view was exhilarating
If you have a wheelchair or other wheel mobility assistance device, let the tram personnel know you need assistance, and they will get you sorted out and taken care of.
My pictures are of the nature hike on the established trails outside the lodge at the top.
Please read and follow the signs. Don’t make your own path or throw your trash on the ground. Remember: if you brought it on the hike, you bring it back from the hike. DONT LITER
If you do hike the trails, be mindful of the fact that it is on a mountain. It is in a wet and cold environment. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear

Great food, and super views from the top while eating. Also nice gift assortment and interpretive displays surrounding the eatery.

Great views from the tram! Quick ride up to the top with a gift shop. We didn’t have much time left before heading back to the ship so we rode it up, quickly checked out the gift shop and rode the tram back down. A must do and great experience to see the little town of Juneau!
