I would give this place 100 stars if I could. My favorite place to date!!!! The food was more than AMAZING!!!! Especially those deviled eggs and the jelly. The steak and veggies were cooked just right!! The service was friendly and right on spot!!

Went on a Monday and was very excited to finally try the steak. Ordered Medium Well and arrived Medium Rare. I sent it back once and it returned burned on the outside and rare on the inside. The cooks have to be completely lost in the back . The vegetables still had dirt on them. Never again

Steak was great and enjoyed watching food being grilled in the middle of the restaurant. Restaurant was not busy but had a wait before seated. Service was good. Location & parking not the best. Atmosphere was dark and felt like we’d walked into a 1970s Western Sizzlin restaurant. All-in-all, We’d go back because the steak was perfectly grilled.

I had a late lunch but the food was amazing. The loaf of bread and butter hit the spot while you wait for you order. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned even better. The service was top notch. I was traveling for business but will definitely come back when I am in town.

I dined in for lunch at The Barn Door. I love the theme and the restaurant was very clean. I wish I’d stayed longer to learn more about the history and decor. The customer service that I received was absolutely exceptional. I don’t remember my waitress’ name, but she was the perfect waitress.
The bread was so good that I forgot I had placed my order. Lol. I ordered a steak and a baked potato. The steak was good just like I like it. Although I wasn’t a fan of the baked potato, it didn’t take away from the overall experience.
I will definitely dine here again.

7/2/21: I ate at 12 PM and there was no wait and we were seated right away. The waitress was very friendly and helpful at all times and was great. A bowl of gumbo was given as a complimentary appetizer, as well as the delicious soft bread. The block of cheese was amazing and compliments the bread well. I ordered the 12 once ribeye steak and it was cooked to perfection and delicious, and the mashed potatoes with brown gravy was also perfect. I had the bread pudding for dessert and wow it was so good and excellent for dessert.
Overall the meal was amazing with great staff and great atmosphere.

We are back here in 2024, and still find this a great place for a meal. We were here in the afternoon, bring your appetite. The bread and cheese were great and were brought as we were seated. The Haystack- very light and crispy onion rings were great. The meal was excellent. If you’re hungry this place is for you!
