The place is bright and colorful inside. We would have been happy to sit at the bar had there not been tables available. The food was “fine” – not bad, not great. We shared some fried okra – I was pleasantly surprised by it – it didn’t seem to be frozen – had a really fresh flavor and texture.
The shrimp tacos were good – albeit a touch skimpy. The coconut infused rice that was served with black beans was tasty. The wings were good – had a flavorful sauce – a nice spicy sweet.

Wow, what a fun experience here. This place a nice bar that we sat in until are table was ready. There was a group of seven of us and we were all pleased with our meals, the food was superb. I got the tuna Thai tacos, yummy. The decor was a tropical theme and absolutely beautiful. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Easy accessibility, clean restrooms, plenty of parking. Highly recommend this place.

Hurricane Mo’s has a become a staple for our OBX (KDH) trips. We hit them up at Happy Hour at least one a trip and if we can, we go twice. They have cheap wings, Shrimp, and Tacos. In the Off-season Happy Hour goes until 6pm. During the rest of the year, till 5pm.

Went for lunch with a very nice waitress who recommended dang near the whole menu. We settled for burgers and fish. Smash burger was a nice serving with fries, and the fish was cooked just right. Try the homemade sauce for the smash burger. It’s really tasty and works with the fries. Would I eat here again, hellz yeah.

3. Stars. Stale tortilla chips and salsa weren’t generously portioned. Baked potato was hard. The seafood was fine but the fish was especially bland. The scallops were the best thing on the plate. Probably better places to get seafood. Service was good though.

Was just in Kill Devil Hills mid October. The tuna bites, w mango salsa, tacos are my favorite!! Consider in the summer, you will wait for a table and the noiseevel, etc. Will be quite different. Food is still excellent.

My meal (it was a coconut/mango/rice chicken dish) was FANTASTIC!!! Drinks were strong, and my friends and I had a great time. It was definitelyy pretty hot/humid in there, but that was the only thing our group agreed on that wasn’t our favorite. Would eat here again!!!

We had the crab dip (DELICIOUS). I had the strawberry mo-tini (DELUCIOUS AGAIN). We got the chicken sandwich (seared) and the seafood platter, also great! We sat at the bar, so no wait. Great vibe and the bartender was awesome!

We had the fried dolphin basket, island chicken bowl, mo 1800 margarita, vitamin C drink, almond joy pie, hummingbird cake. The fish in the basket could’ve been fried more crispy imo and everything else was decent. This place is a nice quick stop from being out on the beach.

Second meal down here on our trip and not as good for the food. My crab cake sandwich was ok, happy hour stuff was just ok as I expected it to be. The upstairs tiki bar was cool and my drink (painkiller) was good.
