I’m going to talk about this place for a while. This was the whole tilapia blackened. I’ve eaten Cajun food all my life and still have never had blackened fish this moist, flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Oh and the menudo was on point tripe soft and spice hot.

Every time I visit Taquería de Jalisco at night, the food has always been outstanding. Today I came during the daytime and the food was excellent as well. The staff in general is very attentive and professional. The night manager, as always, was exceptional, with her warm smile and top-tier customer service.
The server who attended us was also very kind and respectful, just like the other girls — they all provided exemplary service.
However, I had an uncomfortable experience with the daytime manager. My husband is a military veteran and has a service dog. Instead of approaching our table discreetly to ask or verify the service dog identification, she shouted from across the restaurant that the dog should not be there, which was embarrassing and unnecessary. We would have gladly shown the identification and permit, as we in fact did with the server who assisted us.
I did not want to escalate the situation at that moment, but I believe it is important to mention it because the way it was handled was not professional. Aside from that incident, the rest of the staff and the quality of the food continue to be excellent.

Hello I went there yesterday to celebrate my birthday with my family. It was my first time going there and I can honestly say I don’t regret it! I ordered me a Fajita with chicken parrillada. It was delicious! I also got me a Mango Margarita I also enjoyed it! My family mentioned to my waitress it was my birthday and they brought me a cake and played Las Mañanitas on for me! It was beautiful! Mrs Christina was so thoughtful and kind! Thank you Mrs Christina you helped wrap up the night beautifully My family and I really enjoyed our selves and I honestly recommend it here! Gracias a todas las meseras and the cooks. Will be coming back soon!

Food: we were looking for more mex place, but it’s more tex mex. I wasn’t really impressed . I had huevos ranchero. My potatoes were a little hard.
Service: I felt she lacked courtesy. Felt a little harsh tbh. She offered the other table two types of tortillas (2 hand made or 3 packaged). We got the 3 with no option. However, prices are a good deal.
Atmosphere: cute. Appropriate parking.

Great experience, both the waitress Miss Nahomy & evening manager Miss Carmen took the time to take care of us, we had great chat with them, Miss Nahomy always was around to help us, the food is awesome and tastes really homemade.. here’s a picture of the guacamole with Chicharrones..also had the tasty Caldo the Res with homemade Flour and Corn Tortillas.. ☕️☕️ by the way, their Champurrado is a must ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place has homemade food. The champurrado is the first time I tried it here and it was delicious!! Totally recommend it. The chilaquiles are a huge portion and a caution, if u order it with meat, its a lot more extra. The waitress did not tell us about it.
