They refused service because I didn’t have change for $100 bill. Personally between the regisyer and 3 waitresses they could have easily broke the $20 considering i was about to spend an easy $60 for myself and my kids.

Just moved to the area and was recommended this place… I decide for a late breakfast and went… Very laid back atmosphere… Staff was very pleasant, and engaging… Price was very reasonable for what I order, Sausage Gravy on hotcakes, scrambled eggs, bacon , grits, and coffee… Tons of locals, which only added to the home-like feel of the place… Food was served quickly, and was delicious…

Linda’s is like a step back in time in the most wonderful way. It is a diner that serves delicious homestyle cooking food. The atmosphere is rustic with its old paintings, the counter service area, homemade pies, and a table area for a large family /group that will make you feel welcome, as will the people. Service is quick, servers are pleasant, and drinks are kept refilled.
Prices are fair for the large portions you receive. There’s always daily specials, but if you have trouble deciding, go with the fried chicken, and you won’t regret it. Don’t forget to save room for a slice of one of the homemade pies. Linda’s also serves breakfast if you happen to be an early riser.

Great food. Staff was very nice and friendly. A good place to eat and relax. Not ideal for lunch time as the meal may take a moment to get out to you. Great prices though for sure.

My husband and I have been here many times in past,we decided to take personal day and take a drive and stop for lunch. My husband ordered chicken,he was told they don’t have that on menu anymore (although we were looking at the menu) he decided on pork chops I got liver and onions. I believe our waitress was owner. We waited almost an hour for our food,waitress didn’t return until she brought our food. Pork chops were over cooked,tough and bland. He said it was like eating cardboard. He pushed aside plate and ate fries liver had an off taste so I ate mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. Fries,mac and potatoes were good. Waitress came to give us check and said couldn’t eat them huh? Referring to pork chops. She took off 5 dollars and gave us our bill.We went up to pay,waitress never said one word the whole time,not sorry,a total,or have a nice day..nothing. Bathroom was clean. There were a couple flies (probably because cooks were standing with screen door in kitchen open)There was a small girl(3?) Running into kitchen from dining room and talking to cook. It appeared that some guests were family because a guy from table beside the little girl got up and walked behind counter. Nice family atmosphere but alot of health violations and staff not so friendly. I am sorry to say I will not go back. This once hidden gem has definitely list its shine unfortunately.
