Avocado egg rolls were very mushy so I lost my appetite after eating one.. I wish the waiter would’ve asked if we liked it because I would have told him NO especially when it cost $16!
My California chicken club was “okay”. The garlic buttered sourdough bread was overwhelming which took away from the other flavors, sadly. Fries were mediocre and extra fried like some cheap fries from Sams Club.
The buffalo wings were good.
One really good takeaway from this establishment is their water. Their water seemed fresh and didn’t have any chemicals flavors or aftertaste.
Broccoli and cheddar soup you can never go wrong with that. Especially on a cold day. You have to order it in the sourdough bowl.
Our server was spot on. Super friendly and ensure we had everything we needed.
Made for a fantastic experience for the superbowl…and the food and drinks were great!
Navyie did a wonderful job also and look forward to returning! Great job!!
The problems came at first because the “bath tub” that my husband’s drink was delivered in was dirty. After that, (as we had snacks at another birthday party prior to dinner), she seemed very put off that more than half the table decided to share a medium sized pizza. After ordering, it took a very long time to receive our food, and she brought Dr Pepper refills instead of the Pepsi’s that we ordered, and she didn’t refill my mother in law’s lemonade until we asked, and she didn’t stick around any time to see if we needed anything.
At the end, she asked if we wanted to order dessert, not even remembering that I ordered a $13 meal deal that came with a personal pazookie. We ordered an additional shareable one as well. She brought us dirty spoons when those came out.
For reference: After being sat the appetizers hit the table after 10 minutes, our burgers which were ordered at the same time as the appetizers then took ANOTHER 20 minutes after I had to ask what was taking so long. Finally started eating after being here for 40 minutes. Either location I worked at before would have had the table flipped and out by the time we were barely starting our burgers. Follow ups were nonexistant, waited just 5 minutes to be able to ask for a box after which he dropped off the box with the ticket (guess we weren’t getting dessert, server didn’t even care to ask). Then we only had to wait another 10 minutes for him to pick up our card so we could finally leave. Should have just left seeing as the server didn’t care to take our money even, but oh well.
Do yourself a favor and just drive to the Hurst location. You’ll still get your food at about the same time as you would have here, just with a significantly better experience.
Good vegetarian options.
Happy hour and deal of the day are good.
Staff are friendly and accommodating. The place is busy most of the time for the prime location, so reservation for bigger groups is good idea.
Portion sizes are small and could be reasonable for the prices charged.
June 2024:
In my most recent dinner meal, the staff missed the vegetarian customization request and added bacon to the dish. Unfortunately had to slice open the fried Mac and cheese balls to find that out. Although he apologized immediately, the appetite to dine was lost.
Our server, Jarrett, was really nice and attentive, which made the experience pleasant. We started with their fall special, the Calamari. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as crispy as we had hoped, so I’d give that dish 3 stars. Next, we tried the Mini Deep Dish BJ’s Special Pizza, and it was pretty good! I’d rate that 4 stars. We also ordered the Chicken Potstickers, but they had an unpleasant bitter aftertaste. Sadly, I couldn’t enjoy them at all, so that dish gets 0 stars from me. The highlight of the night was definitely the Mini Strawberry Shortcake Pizookie. It was delicious, and I’d give it a well-deserved 4.5 stars! Lastly, my husband ordered the Wedge Salad to-go, so we’re still waiting to see how that turns out.
Overall, it was a decent experience with some bright spots, but a few misses as well.
We also got the new snickers dessert. Everyone at the table liked it and shared it.
