Aye t̾e̾r̾p̾y̾fam ya guy slid up on B-234 w/family for a late lunch n was fortuitously surp’d by the experience.
Its a nice dinning room with a few tables, not a large space but accommodating enough and well lit.
The menu is extensive w/a lot of interesting options. Being farm to table is really challenging especially since ppl eat out less these days so that alone is impressive tbh.
We ordered pirogies, meatballs and ibirico ham croquettes to start.
All were delicious and interesting renditions worth ordering again!
For mains there were burgers, the duck, chicken milanese, and I ordered a pot pie.
Presentation was legit, everything looked great and ate even better. All the food was smasht and we even ordered desserts. (Lemon tart was the star)
Overall a really nice meal in a quintessential new england town. On a nice day this is a win, will be back again!

Im not sure I have had duck this good before. Perfect new England style savory meat with Swiss chard and carrots snd i believe a balsamic style reduction. Amazing.
Good service, well prepared and high quality food. Good atmosphere.
Enjoyed the music selection also.
The bedford iced tea was a really great cocktail also. Enjoyed it more than the cucumber martini which was also good.
Cocktail prices a tad high, but for a well crafted cocktail it was about right. Food prices also in line with what you get around here.
I didn’t have beer but they had a well curated list of craft beer too from high quality and well regarded localish breweries.
Fried oysters and deviled eggs appetizer was delicious.
Small place, packed full, no reservations but we were seating in decent time despite how full they were for a Friday night.

Been going there for years and always great food and great service. Tonight me and my wife went there. No table we were told and wait be 25 mins. Fine. Always good times. Then, looking at the restaurant we notice 3 empty tables, then 4 and 5. We asked if we could sit. They told us table are for 4 ppl and mgt will be upset with the waiter if he would set us. Really? How dumb is that. No reservations required, empty tables and dumb rules. Stay away. Some ppl have a weird definition of customer service. Truck made the night for us.

Decent menu done well; small but very good bar/bartenders and great outdoor seating to watch the mayhem on the mean streets of Bedford. 234 is the beginning or end to the finest “dinner and a movie” combo in the New York Metro area.

This place is kid friendly, great Mac and Cheese and chicken fingers. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly but the food and service are amazing. Every single dish was delicious, the presentation was outstanding. Will definitely comeback. We had an early dinner reservation because the kids but I could see a older crowd and romantic dining a bit later. They have a full bar.

It ended before we came.
I called during the week for a reservation. They told me wait would be short at my intended time, and that i should call ahead 15min before I headed over so they put me on the list.
I called on the day. They said wait is 40min and they can’t put me on the list.
You guys literally destroyed my Saturday evening. Please tell people nothing but the truth when they ask about reservations.

Let’s just say that I really support small businesses especially those run by women. This happened to me not once, not twice but THREE times!!! I always tip the staff after great food and service. Two times instead of $7 they charged the tip. $70!! This time they charged me $700!! I told the manager Anna (whose response I’m still awaiting as I am typing this comment) that my account is wiped out and I need my ! All she could say was I’m sorry!! Sorry can’t help me with my situation that I explained to her!! This was ridiculous!! This mistake has happened to ME too many times from this establishment! To add on, it has only occurred at this restaurant! Since she couldn’t correct it until Monday, I called my bank to dispute and received my money hours later!! Thank you Capital One! Lesson to me:cash only at restaurants that are small!!

We stoped there randomly as we were driving throught the town. The service was great. Fun atmosphere. And food was delicious!!! I had warm jumbo lump crab and brown rice and qinoua bowl. Defiantly coming back!!!

Really enjoyed this restaurant. My wife and I wanted to grab food before our movie at the playhouse. We are so glad we did. The Octopus appetizer was amazing, cooked and seasoned perfectly. I had the duck which was superb and again the seasoning was perfect. The vegetable medley that came with it was outstanding. My wife had the artichokes. I didn’t try them but she said they were great. For dessert we had the fig tart with ice cream and it was amazing. The service was great. We will definitely be back.
