We came across this highly rated sushi place after having sushi cravings all day and working up an appetite at the Elk Falls.
The sushi was ahhhmazingly delicious and fresh! We tried a few different rolls and was not disappointed! Must try the Hawaiian Paradise – quite unique and oh so yummy!
Service was admirable. 2min in and the restaurant had a blackout, yet they still managed to serve us with sushi (that didn’t need cooking) and the chefs were quick to make those rolls.
Will come again next time we visit. Thanks for the wonderful experience, Miki’s!

Super yummy food from a local business. I really appreciate they try to source from local providers. The Elk Benny is phenomenal. My kids absolutely love the Bella Bot robot. Service was great and I love that they have little buttons at the table so you can call the staff over rather than having them interrupt all the time to check in. I really enjoy the vanilla lattes as well.

Good size portions. In house berry jam was really nice. Very friendly and welcoming service. Once you’re ready to order, there’s a button on the table you push, and the servers comes to take your order. Nice touch with the robot delivering our food. Server kept checking in to see all was good, and if we needed anything else. Good view for storm watching. Ample parking.

Service was a bit iffy, but its made up for the silly robot server. And item was missed. The menu was VERY large, great selection, but the experience would be better if we were given a straight up multiple choice fill in sheet. I liked the comedy in the menu. Also, fish was great, DO NOT GET THE MISSO SOUP! it wasn’t flavorless, i definitely HAD A flavor. Not bad enough to not eat it, but oooh- would not order, tasted expired, stale, old, and like actual bath-water.

Having moved from Vancouver, I was spoiled by many excellent options around the lower mainland for food. From overpriced high end, to little hole in the wall joints that surprisingly put out amazing dishes. Miki’s is an absolute favourite. Always fresh, fast and friendly. Such a great spot. Kudos to the chefs, servers and management. Well done guys.

Everything was GREAT! Service is super friendly! Food was served super fast. All that we chose was delicious! We came back the next day for lunch. We like to explore more places, but kids insisted, they LOVED the food! i gave 4 stars because the drinks came with plastic straws Those are banned almost everywhere, and the restaurant should stop using it…..

Sat us at a table, left us there for about 15 minutes, and then told us we can’t even place an order for at least another 20 minutes because they’re busy. I’ve never heard of that in my life. Why not just take the order and have it in the queue? The whole time they were still taking mobile orders and Uber Eats orders that were going ahead of ours. Would’ve gone somewhere else if I’d known that from the start. Then after that wait, they said they also can’t tell us how long the wait for food is (over an hour as it turns out). Meanwhile they’re taking TONS of take out and Uber Eats orders while neglecting the customers that are physically in the store. If you’re already incapable of serving people, why take EVEN MORE ORDERS?

Tried this new branch of Miki’s. Location is good, ambiance is alright. I think they could’ve done the interiors better aka higher end feel. What we ordered was good/yummy and can’t wait to try some others next time. My one quip is the cost of the Korean fare, like for example the gimbap.. wish they were better priced. Even the spicy chicken we got was half rice on the hot plate..we thought it will be full plate of spicy chicken ♂️ overall I still encourage you to go and have some delicious Japanese/Korean dishes when you can!
