Authentic? Are authentic? More expensive than Taco Bell but with it. But Taco Bell is not cheap anymore either. Way better food. Did not have pancakes this visit but they do look really really good. Wi Fi working fine. Burrito so good may have another.

I decided to take my friend who is new to Brighton to Santiago’s for breakfast she was excited when she saw chili cheese fries. She ordered that I ordered my bowl and we sat down. Our order was never brought to us but I found it sitting up front on the counter. I brought our breakfast to the table where when my friend opened her chili cheese fries she looked at a pile of fries, a tiny bit of green chili and a pinch of shredded cheese. She said what is this? The head waiter was walking by and asked if she could get a little more green chili. He told her that he would have to charge her. She came back to the table with her bare fries. I then went to the counter and asked about the issue. I was told that we are on strick orders to portion size. I asked what happened to the good ole Santiago’s? He profusely apologized explain that the kitchen manager now only gives a little bit of green chili and a pinch of cheese for chili cheese fries. They didn’t even look like they were smothered. The wait staff apologized over and over. I saw the kitchen lady just stood back in the kitchen and laughed at us. Too bad the home town feeling now feels corporate.

On my last visit, I had a great mix of classic and custom items. The Smothered Burrito (deep-fried with beans, potatoes, rice, and onions) was heavenly—crispy, hearty, and absolutely smothered in their legendary 1/2 & 1/2 Chile. That green chile is the best in town!
The Crispy Chile Relleno Smothered was also flawless. I also appreciate that they accommodated my specific customizations on the Bean Tostada (no cheese/tomatoes) and the Plain Burritos (with extra rice and potatoes).
Whether you’re looking for a quick and perfect breakfast burrito or a full plate of smothered comfort food, this location delivers every time. Five stars!

I love this place. I always order the deluxe smothered bean and beef burrito. I find it delicious!!!!! Chili over burrito is my jam. Chips and salsa are good also. Highly recommend as menu will fit all palates.

This location has really went downhill. I called in to place my order and they didn’t start it until I arrived. That took an additional 20 minutes. After getting all the way home, Order was not right and the carnitas were all fat, the steak on the other burrito was overcooked and hard. Called to request a partial refund and the manager was rude and told me I would have to drive back there and bring the food back to get any refund. Spending over $40 this is not the place to go. They don’t value their customers and don’t put out quality food! Do NOT recommend!

They no longer supply STRAWS??? Waitress said it’s “going green” to help the environment! What about those styrofoam containers?? Ever heard about the restaurants who supply paper straws? I’ve worked in a restaurant and know how glasses are washed… no way I’m drinking from them! So guess if I ever decide to go back, I’ll take my bottle of water. Just seems like a cheap shot to saving a small amount of money in exchange for poor service!

Good,quick, family style Mexican food in a casual fine in environment. We like this place but this time when we got our sides of salsa, it was as if, they forgot to fill up the container. The containers barely had any salsa in them at all. Since it’s the first time it’s happened, we’ll call it a fluke. I hope it’s not how it’s going to be from here on out. Check out the pics.

Always loved this place, but needs an upgrade, update, and has horrible seats!
Some of the waitresses are awesome at what they do, but there are a couple that are slow, annoying and need retraining. The food is good, but not always done to standards. I will always eat here, but don’t like the small environment, just my style, due to my tall stature.
