The food was really delicious, and the prices are great for the portions. I ordered the sopa de mariscos (seafood soup) and it was full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh, and I’d definitely come back. What really stood out was the service. Anthony
himself was there, and you can tell this business is in very good hands. He was extremely attentive, checking on us personally to make sure everything was good. When he noticed a large group come in, he immediately started arranging tables and helping out—very active, hands-on, and giving every customer his attention. The atmosphere was comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the food plus service made this a great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others.

We visited this restaurant for lunch since we were in the area. The exterior looked interesting and somewhat cute. Since it was our first time here, we were open to trying the food.
The restaurant has a fast-food counter where you can order from a screen. The plates and combinations are reasonably priced, making it a convenient option for a quick lunch. The service was friendly and courteous. Our order was taken immediately, and we were served promptly.
We ordered the classic shrimp and fish plate with two sides. The fried catfish was not entirely to my liking. It appeared extra moist and bland, with a subtle flavor that needed a lot of salt and pepper to enhance.
The side dishes were acceptable, but they could have been better. The coleslaw didn’t look like shredded cabbage; instead, it had pieces of cabbage. The mashed potatoes looked dry and made from dried flakes, but I could be mistaken since I didn’t ask.
The building itself seemed outdated and needed some updates, such as painting and cleaning the walls. The lighting was dim, and the overall appearance was unappealing.
On a positive note, the restaurant did a good job of presenting itself as an accessible option for a casual lunch. Unfortunately, they didn’t carry our favorite Coca-Cola products.

Picked up my family order at 6:30 PM. Decided to get takeout instead of cook at home due to being tired after work. The food was so amazingly cooked that I told my husband I need a call to see how I can give kudos to whoever cooked it, I spoke to Giselle and she was also amazing with customer service and informed me that Aiden was the cook! Aidan, the food was cooked amazingly thank you!!! Thank you to the both of you for making my take experience AMAZING!!!

I am so disappointed! The food was terrible and old. I had family visiting from out of state and hyped the food up because it used to be delicious. All of the food was bland and we bought a lot of different plates so we can try everything. The shrimp cocktail had no juice and was filled mainly with old pico de gallo & old avocado that was my favorite I nearly cried. I will never return and feel like I failed my family. The manager needs to do quality checks on the food because it’s really bad.

Place smelled like a sewer back up. Male manager was rushy and not a people person. We can no longer get our own starter sauce. They were going to give me one only i had to ask for more.v prices are now too high for what you get. Over 20 bucks for 3 small pieces of fish . For that price I recommend Sea Island. This place has changed for the worst. Im not going back. The only plus is the young girl up front was very nice. Don’t waste your money here people

I ordered take out today (2-20-26) family fish, so I guess it was my fault for not checking the order but I thought J Anthony’s hired competent people who could READ an order. I drove 30 minutes to pick up and returned home to find out that I was not given the rice. I called to complain, told them I wanted to speak to the manager, then someone hung up on me. Then I tasted the gallon of tea that came with the family order which the plastic jug looked swollen, it tasted fermented. They need to do better, act nicer, and sell fresh tea. So sad, will not return to this location.

We waited in line for 30 minutes just to place the order and before and we got home saw that we were missing items. Then later realized the tea that comes with it tastes fizzy and sour as if it was going bad.

I needed a place to work out of while I was on that side of town and Johnny was the absolute best in assisting me with an area so I could borrow a plug. He was helpful, fast, his interactions with both his staff and the customers was a delight!!! I was there from 1015am till 3pm.
The food was great I had the catfish and the pineapple upside cake!! The busser was also super funny and they were very great at customer service!!

Usually quiet here and quick service. Your food comes out without too long of a wait and is hot and delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is quiet and nice for a family meal. When I get fried fish I usually get from here dine-in or to-go. Fried fish plate is great
