IT’S WORTH THE DRIVE TO CAFE ITALIANO!!! They have a verity of authentic Italian food; everything from Chicken, fish, steak and vegetarian dishes and the best pizza in town too. The atmosphere is romantic and the staff is curious and friendly too. I took my mom for her 83rd birthday in December and I ordered the Speni di Mare, It was Delicious! And the cheese cake is excellent!!! The price is right too! My family and I have been coming here for many years and we have never been disappointed. We even had our rehearsal dinner here.

The owner needs a wake up call. The quality of this place is horrible. Just be cause you cover some pasta with cheese and put some tomato sauce over it doesn’t make good Italian food. There is no love in this food or in the environment. It looks as though the owner spent more time and money on giving a stone face lift on the outside instead of cleaning up the inside. I have given this place 5 chances and the food was mediocre every time. It seems as they only have one waitress and she is clumsy and forgetful. Order a soda and they fill up your glass from a 2 liter bottle. I understand times are tuff but if you expect people to come in and enjoy the food the atmosphere needs to be upgraded. Had the owner taken the money from the stone on the outside and spent it on new tables and on ceiling tiles the place would have been much more comfortable.
