My entire family came here to eat and watch the super bowl and we had a BLAST! The food was great but the chicken and cornbread combo is AMAZING. I am from the south but it is some of the best cornbread I’ve ever eaten. No regrets at all.

We were in DC for work and wanted a good spot to watch a game, and this place did not disappoint. Nat seated us fast and was really friendly. Dina took care of us the whole time and was fantastic! attentive, kind, and always smiling. The food was great, the atmosphere was fun, and we left really impressed. Definitely adding this spot to our list every time we’re back in DC.

Took my family here to celebrate a birthday. We had cheese curds, nashville hot tenders w/fries, prime rib dip sandwich w/fries, and the carne asada tacos w/chips and salsa. All was delicious. The birthday girl also got a slice of cheesecake w/chocolate sauce.

Our waitress Jasmine was friendly, always kept a smile, and checked on us the right amount of times. Came here a year ago and the food, atmosphere, and customer service has not changed.

Never again. Bar tender was cool as could be. The Nashville wings were okay but not great. The ranch dressing was small. The real kicker was the cost, especially for the area. Navy Yard restaurants are overpriced, but Tom’s is borderline extortion. $12 for a Coors Light can?!? That’s stadium prices. It’s February 1st. $12 for a 4.6% Voodoo Ranger? Laughable. And the thing is, these prices are NOT listed anywhere.
They do list a 4% Service Fee, which is fine? It doesn’t go to the servers and isn’t a “tip”. I didn’t even elect my tip as my bill was closed by an unknown and the bartender was upset about it.
It was $18 for 6 “jumbo” wings, your milage may vary.
The TVs are plentiful, and big. But they are fading and can be misallianed.
Overall, 1 dude getting wings and beer … See the pic for the price. (It’s over $50) For me, across the street to any of their competitors is the better move.

Tom’s Watch Bar is what a sports bar should be. There are tvs everywhere. Thet even have an outdoor area with tvs. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. Gray went above snd beyond for us. The food and drinks were good as well.

Tom’s Watch Bar is clearly a go-to spot for fans before and after games, and I recently visited for the first time with friends—grabbing drinks both pre- and post-game.

Before the game, a friend and I grabbed a table, which meant we were assigned a server. The place was packed, and service was understandably slow. Our server seemed to be covering nearly the entire floor—including both bar sides and the back—which made it feel like the staff wasn’t prepared for the crowd that comes with a big game.

When another friend joined us for a quick drink, we suggested he order directly from the bar. However, bar staff refused, saying they couldn’t take payment since we were seated in a server’s section. Even when we asked to close out and move to the bar, we were told we still had to wait for the server. We ended up ordering just one round and then closing out. I understand the intention of not cutting into server tips, but when service is that slow, it becomes a frustrating experience.

After the game, we returned to let the stadium crowd thin out. This time, service was a bit more attentive—the server checked in more frequently during our shorter visit, which was appreciated.

One thing that stood out on both visits was how hot it felt inside. Before the game, the doors were closed and the space felt stuffy. After the game, the garage-style doors were open, but instead of providing relief, they let in more warm air, making the space uncomfortable either way.

Overall, Tom’s has a fun, energetic vibe and is clearly a popular game-day spot. Just know going in that service may be slow when it’s busy, and the indoor temperature can be less than ideal.

Everyone was very friendly, I want to start with that. As someone with restaurant experience the first thing that I noticed was the menu appeared to have never been wiped down or lately. The bar was dirty, the surface, the caddies, as well as the bar menus. I was always trained to wipe them all down everyday. The glass that I had with water in it had a flavor around the rim, that’s not supposed to be there. The actual drink was good and reasonably priced for the area. I got the Mediterranean salad, no notes, great. The queso, perfect, very expensive to get pita instead of chips. The dips were good as well. The cheese curds are definitely worth the order. Overall good vibe, but once I smelt a garbage smell from the bar and things just not looking very clean…it just ruins it for me.

Gray was our server, it was busy but he was attentive and made sure we got what we needed. We ordered burgers and beers, beers were cold and crisp… I would return and recommend

This the spot to go to in DC if you want to watch any game, they have multiple games playing at the same time and the bartender are great especially Dani she really took the time to cater us and to show us what type of cocktail is the best and showed us the best item in the menu.

Tom’s Bar completely blew me away. From the moment I walked in, I realized this wasn’t just another sports pub—it was an experience. The food was nothing short of phenomenal, far beyond what I ever expected. The ahi tuna nachos were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, setting the bar high right from the start.

And then there were the drinks… absolutely next level. The lemon drop lavender martini was pure perfection—beautifully crafted with just the right amount of strength and an incredible depth of flavor. Every sip was smooth, refreshing, and expertly balanced, proving that Tom’s takes their cocktail game just as seriously as their food.

What truly impressed me was how seamlessly Tom’s combines high-quality food and elevated cocktails with the fun, energetic vibe of a sports bar. It’s rare to find a place that nails all of it, but Tom’s does—effortlessly. Jake the manager for this shift was beyond attentive! This place didn’t just meet my expectations, it shattered them.

I’ll be back for every football game I possibly can, because Tom’s Bar has officially become my go-to spot for great food, amazing drinks, and an unbeatable game-day atmosphere.
