I placed an online order for two mountain melts and two pints of Captain ice cream and went to pick them up at the counter. When I arrived, I noticed the freezer door where the ice cream is stored wasn’t fully closed, which concerned me but I didn’t think too much about it at the time. However, when I received my order, the plastic bag was already messy and covered in melted ice cream. After opening it, both pints were completely melted and watery, making them unusable. It was really disappointing, especially since this should have been a simple pickup order. I expected better quality control and attention to food handling. Unfortunately, this was a very poor experience.

This place never disappoints. Food is great, prices are fair, beer is always super cold and waiters are friendly and efficient.
The location did not have a host when we arrived and it was extremely confusing because we were standing at the door for more than 5 minutes and waiters ignored us. A kind bartender pointed at an empty table and ask us to sit there. Our gain, the waiter was great.
Our go to for a great time and a good american meal.

Ale House is rock bottom…

The chicken BLT came with a piece of chicken that was about 3-3.5 oz – it was the smallest chicken sandwich I’ve ever been served at a sit down restaurant with a straight face. I asked if the sandwich is always so small and a manager came out to tell me that is the correct size. The sandwich was also supposed to be blackened with Swiss and came out grilled with cheddar jack. I ordered the full menu item and the measly pile of fries would’ve been small even for a lunch portion. The manager behaved as though nothing was amiss and he was doing me a favor to take it off the check.

One of us ordered the mahi sandwich grilled and it came blackened

The other ordered mahi and asked for tartar sauce three times which never came

The other one of us enjoyed the burger

I’ve been eating at Ale House for 30 years and at times ate there multiple times a week. Maybe it’s this location (I frequented Gardens & Jupiter) but based on the standard set at the Boca store, Ale House these days is a shadow of its former self.

Skip this Ale House and go to Flanigan’s

I visited last week with a few friends; sat at an outside dining table. Laurie was our server; a great gal she is! Funny, attentive and wonderful customer service! Her smile indicates she clearly likes her job. Laurie, combined with awesome company and fabulous food, made it a really nice experience! (I’ve been at this location many times before. It is always a treat.)

I had mixed feelings about my visit. First, the table was sticky, which wasn’t great. I ordered the filet mignon, but the piece I got looked nothing like a filet — it was thin, more like half of a New York strip. The taste was okay, but a bit too tough for a filet. I also got the lemon rice on the side, and it was way too sour, so I didn’t really enjoy the dish overall. I’ll definitely go somewhere else for steaks next time, but I might come back to try a burger or some ribs — something more classic for a place like this.

Everything was as you would expect at a Miller’s during lunch lunch time… a lot of seniors, a few sprinkled youth, and a relaxed pace.

The main thing that vastly stood out was the fantastic personality and service of Jules, the bartender. She was breathe of fresh air and made the entire experience significantly better.

If you want customer service and a friendly demeanor, Jules is your lady.

Ginger beer with a Bavarian pretzel. Who doesn’t like this buttery German baked pastry with sweet mustard and cheese dipping sauce…really nice people here and good service.

Burguer, stakes and fries were good, but mashed potatoes were okay and the vegetables were not tasting good.

This was me & my family’s 1st visit. Our waiter was so nice. We enjoyed our food, appetizers, entrées to our dessert although we had a few issues..the steaks and salmon were too charred & tasted burnt & our mac & cheese were too salty…so we were able to have them replaced or redone & our waiter & the manager was so polite about it. Then when we got our bill we noticed that they didn’t charge us for the appetizers…now that’s what u call “customer satisfaction”. We would definitely visit again..
