We came to celebrate my girl 50th birthday and all I can say is WOW! Our server Laquez was absolutely amazing. The food OMG was sooooo good. The catfish was season very well, crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the inside. The lamb chops were so tender and the bourbon sauce they put on the chops was very tasty.
The drinks were very good. You can definitely taste the alcohol. We also got bottomless mimosas and it was definitely worth it.
Everything was sooooooo GOOD!!!

You are so blessed to have Laquez apart of your team. His hospitality was top notch and his personality was everything a patron look for when dining out.
I was traveling on leisure and the next time I’m in Nashville I will definitely be coming back.

Soul Restaurant in Nashville was a vibe from start to finish. The ambiance was beautiful, our waitress was good, and the food did not miss. The bang bang chicken was truly banging—and if you order the fried wings, do yourself a favor and get the bang bang sauce on them. Trust me on this one.

The vibe was there and music was vibing. My lemon drop was dropping. Also the food was pretty good. I went at 3:00pm on a Thursday. My only complaint is for it to have been no one in there the drinks took 10-15 min to get then our food took almost an hour and we got the most simple things but that spinach dip was the best Atl has nothing on it. I really wanted to love this place because the ambience is beautiful, the atmosphere and décor are definitely a vibe. One of the waitstaff who initially assisted us was very kind, upbeat, and had great energy, which I appreciated.
Unfortunately, the overall service completely missed the mark.
I arrived around 5:45 PM, and as of 7:20 PM, I was still waiting on my food. Meanwhile, my friend received her meal and was nearly finished eating while I had nothing. Our table was only checked on once, and I was given a single cup of water with no updates afterward.
The most disappointing part was my interaction with a staff member named Tony. He was extremely rude, refused to let me speak with a manager, could not provide any estimate on when my food would arrive, and ultimately told me, “No disrespect, ma’am, but you don’t have to stay here. You can go ahead and leave if you’d like.” That response was unprofessional and unacceptable—especially after such a long wait.
The explanation given was that the restaurant was short-staffed and having kitchen issues, but that still doesn’t excuse the lack of communication or basic customer service.
Overall, the space looks better than the service delivers. With better staff training, communication, and management presence, this place could be great—but based on this experience, I wouldn’t return.

The only reason I chose to not give 5 stars was due to whatever problem they were having in the kitchen. We ordered as a table and everyone’s food came out at different times, even tables sat after us were receiving food while members in my party were still waiting. Outside of that issue Soul was a vibe. The decor was great for multiple picture taking and the food did not disappoint. Would try again next time I visit Nashville.

We stopped here on Sunday for brunch around 11:30. Soul opens 11am on Sundays btw. There was parking open on site and the restaurant has plenty of seating. The ambience is beautiful and soft… ladies know what I mean. There’s also a stage for a live band. Loved the food, the customer service and especially the vibe. I had the ox tails, mac n cheese, cabbage and rice and my guy had the fried whole snapper, cabbage and red beans and rice. I also had the bottomless mimosa option. Love everything! Snapper was seasoned well and the cabbage was good. My least favorite was the mac n cheese. Overall, the food and was great and every song played was a hit. Will definitely stop by again.

This place is such a vibe! The drinks were good and came in super cute glasses, the food was delicious, though the greens were not my favorite (I am biased to my dad’s). The bang bang shrimp and sauce was fire!!!!
When you walk in, you are transported to a floral lounge aesthetic. All of the space is decorated nicely and you can’t fine a bad spot to take a picture! We were able to make a reservation in advance and watch the live band, which was so much fun!
Asia, our server, was a joy to have. She made the atmosphere more lively and we had great conversations. I would definitely come back for the baked chicken.

I came here for my birthday despite the mixed reviews. I went on a Monday and it was dead however they were playing music. Once we arrive and seated we were told they were not serving alcohol at the time mind you it was about 7p. We got our children sprite however when we got it and they tasted it their faces said it all. I tasted it and it tasted like mold was in the line just disgusting.. 1st red flag but we proceeded to order food, baked chicken with Mac & cheese and shrimp Alfredo and Cajun Alfredo with loaded fries. The loaded fries had big pieces of chicken chunks with nacho cheese. The Mac and cheese was nasty it tasted just like butter and noddles and no cheese was added super dry. The Alfredo had the shrimp tails still on it and was very very bland and the Cajun tasted nothing like canjun but everything like buffalo with chicken however the pieces had the fat/ bone nothing good. All that being said the place is cute for pictures however food 0/10 and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Listen!!! It was loud, the music was great, but the food was horrible. They were out of EVERYTHING we asked for. How are you out of mashed potatoes or tea?? The broccoli was all stems. The rice unseasoned. The lamb chops wete tough. I was beyond disappointed. The food was so disappointing that I didn’t take not one photo of it. And there was 8 of us.
