The owner at Manifest Antiques suggested we try lunch here, and we were impressed with the atmosphere, food and service. Our waiter suggested the crab cake sandwich, which I had. DELICIOUS! An unusual slaw with apple and fennel (I asked) along with remoulade, lettuce and tomato was so flavorful, and a side of mushroom curry soup?!?! Gregg had the Cuban sandwich with potato salad, and also loved his selection. Our waiter was attentive and helpful and the venue is beautifully decorated. You should treat yourself!

This place is a bit hard to find but is a treasure! Great, healthy, locally sorced food. Unique atmosphere with beautiful rooftop,(river views), cozy downstairs seating and lounge. Menu changes often based on expertly prepared fresh/local ingredints. There is often great entertainment, also with a local focus. Please consider supporting this place as gems like this are few and far between!

A rare struggle to write a good review. The night I was there it took longer to get our drinks than it did to get our dinner. The food was really good. The service was weak at best. They weren’t busy, probably just under staffed and in the weeds. Live music on the roof was fantastic. I will definitely give them another try.

My husband & I live in New Bern & we decided to do an overnight to Washington. We had dinner at BLU after walking around town & checking out our options. WOW !!! This place has it all. Everything from atmosphere, food, service. I lived in California & ate at many gourmet restaurants & this one has it all. We will return.

What a neat place to dine! We had the pleasure of enjoying the rooftop seating area, which offered a fantastic atmosphere. Our server, Christian, was excellent—attentive and knowledgeable, making our experience even more enjoyable.
The food was simply amazing! We kicked things off with the mushroom appetizer, which was a delightful start to our meal. For dessert, we indulged in coffee and “the Elvis,” and it was the perfect sweet ending.
Overall, we had a wonderful time, and we will definitely return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

Delicious!!! I am thrilled to find this restaurant as I am from out of town. The menu provided comfortable food options and truly made both of us savor our meals. Absolutely the best meal we have had in over 6 months! If you are in town, please make this a stop. You won’t regret it!

Overall an ok place but more hype then actual. Normal experience of a farm to table is that wait staff explains restaurant and foods. Unfortunately, waiter just handed menus and welcomed.
Seemed to be short staffed as waiter rarely appeared. Never really ask if food was good.
As for food. Wife went with burger and was very disappointed. Lamb was tender on edges but very dry and in middle. Other guest enjoyed shrimp scampi.

We stopped in for lunch and had a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is cute, clean and cozy — and our server, Anthony, was phenomenal. Food was 10/10 fresh, tasty, and presented beautifully. You could tell that they care a lot about the quality of their dishes! We can’t wait to come back when it’s warmer and enjoy cocktails on the rooftop!
