We offer a variety of options including delicious coffees, shakes, breakfast or lunch sandwiches, and home style desserts. We have a ton of vegetarian and vegan options as well. We dropped in to this local breakfast spot over the weekend. I say local because it was like having breakfast at Cheers where everyone knows the regulars who cycled through during our breakfast – few stayed but many came for pickup. We had omelets to fuel up for the day and sat at one of two cafe tables. The rest of the seating is at the counter. Room for about 5 locals, so takeout is an option that many used. The staff was cordial and served us very tasty and generously sized omelets with ingredients like bacon, turkey sausage and fresh baby spinach. Skip the homefries and grab one of their baked treats to go. A quirky but delicious destination.

The egg white omelette, packed with fresh veggies, turkey slices, and melty Swiss cheese, was served hot and bursting with flavor. The roasted home potatoes? Golden, crispy, and absolutely to die for. Stephanie and her team were so kind and attentive—truly top-notch service that made the experience even better. Kickstart is absolutely amazing! Everything is made so well and packed with flavor. The sausage, egg, and cheese is incredible, and the avocado chipotle–drizzled toast with a perfectly scrambled egg is a must-try. Their home fires are crispy and delicious. The honeybee with its milk is a must try! On top of the great food, the staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend stopping here—you won’t be disappointed!

First time here and was absolutely blown away. The staff members were absolutely wonderful, friendly, and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious and the coffee was beyond this world. Obsessed with this adorable spot in downtown Shelton! I talked to the owner who was so nice, and they’re super dog friendly so seeing all of the pups really brightened my day. It’s one of those spots where almost everyone is a regular and they all know each other, so it felt very community oriented! My fiancé and I grabbed a sunny table near the window and had such a delicious breakfast of avocado toast and the George’s sandwich with our coffees. I really liked the iced pumpkin one I had! I will definitely be keeping this spot in mind for future trips to downtown Shelton!

A few months ago I gave up drinking energy drinks but obviously couldn’t give up caffeine, so I started a hunt for a locally owned coffee shop. I went to several establishments in the downtown area, but found them either lacking in character and/or staff personality, or their beverages were subpar. After I tried Kickstart Cafe I stopped looking; I had found home.
Want to sit and work on your laptop at a table and not talk to anyone? That’s allowed, the staff will leave you alone. Feel like chatting? Sit at the bar, strike up a conversation; the staff (and vibe) is very friendly. Bring your dog, they’ll get pets and a pup cup.
Food and drink options for carnivores, vegans, and everyone in between. Substituting ingredients is never a problem, they aim to please.
All baked goods are made on premises, lots of coffee (and milk) options. Flavored bean brews offer considerable taste with no sugar.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality food and drink in a friendly and inviting atmosphere.

This place is cute & has great customer service. The coffee is good. I love their avocado tomato pesto toast! Great place to get out of the house for a little if you work remotely. The only negative, there is not a ton of seating.

Quality service and food. Probably the biggest home fries you’ll find the are, maybe anywhere else. You can find people working here, or just enjoying their time so stop by. Try their flavor of the day mixed with any style of drink you usually get, you won’t regret it.

Such a sweet little find! Great location if travelling (right off the main route), an expansive variety for vegans and non-vegans with creative + tasty options, and the ladies that helped me greeted me upon entry + had such genuine energy. Price point is rare in these times, only lacking a star for me because the produce wasn’t organic and the vegan options were processed. Either way, I would 100% recommend to friends and am grateful for the kind service and simple but yummy lunch ♡
