We have been here many times now and every time we have had great service and food. Nice place to bring family and friends for a good meal.

Let me say I don’t take time to write reviews very often but when I do, it’s because of restaurant is either really bad Or really good now I have Been eating at Gabino’s For several years, Let me start out by saying I live about 10 miles away and I pass eight other restaurants at least that serve Mexican food that are highly rated. I mean you know 4 1/2 stars are better but to me it’s always either too high price for the quantity or it’s overrated because of the atmosphere or it’s more about the drinks or something you know with this restaurant is just about grapefruit. That’s the reason I come at a great price. Tonight I ordered dinner and I know how long it’s gonna take so I ordered about 18 minutes before they closed because it only takes about 10 minutes to get ready and I was on the way I got on the interstate and about five minutes after I hit the interstate, the interstate just stopped long story short traffic was there was an accident. Traffic was horrible. They called me a couple times and asked me you know how far I was and I explained to them what the GPS was saying and they waited 30 minutes after their closing. Nobody else was there except for one cashier and the manager and they were polite. Tezz can be and I apologized and they said they completely understood. They were so nice about it. My food was still piping hot. Excellent customer service. The only reason I didn’t get the atmosphere of a higher rating cause I’ve never eaten indoors there.

We had dinner there on 1/9/26. Ash was our server. Her service was outstanding, keeping an eye on the 5 tables she had near us. Her personality was uplifting and high spirited, telling me she enjoyed where she worked and the job she had.
The food was very good and reasonable priced. And the drinks (beers) which she remembered what they were, were even a better price.
No wonder there was a short wait when we got there.
The bar tenders also very pleasant and acknowledged us right away, while we were waiting for a table.

This was my first time at this restaurant. The atmosphere has a pretty laid back and calm vibe. My waitress was very professional and polite. She was also very prompt with taking our order. The food was pretty good. The salsa that comes with the chips was good and not spicy. I will definitely give this place another visit.

Spent $57 on takeout. Purchased Barria tacos, was told I had to pay for the consommé although it said it’s served with the tacos. Not sure why I had to pay additional. My tacos were soggy, I understand the steam but these were really soggy on the bottom. My spouse purchased the house special, she was charged for the white cheese sauce that comes on top in the menu. They rip you off when you order take out. Oh and you can’t get salsa for the dishes unless you pay for that too.

We stopped in to get a bite to eat before getting back on the road to head south and let me tell you…. Gabinos did not disappoint!!! The food was so freaking good. I like how the cheese was on the bottom of my nachos so it would stay warm and not get stiff and cold. The drinks….. baby the drinks… were so good!! 10/10

We were in town to visit with my daughter (locust Grove is the halfway point between us) and we decided to eat here. We were all very pleased. I had the lemon cream chicken enchiladas (with flour tortillas) and they were fantastic!! They had great salsa too. Our server was attentive and friendly. All around good service. Nice restaurant as well. Around 50 bucks for 3 people. Will look forward to returning

I LOVE Gabino’s Mexican! We’ve been multiple times, and this is quite literally one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. I have been to almost every Mexican restaurant there is in the McDonough & Locust Grove area, and nothing outdoes Gabino’s so far.

I have been with a group of 14+, and we still had wonderful service and great food. They always provide us with fresh food and a great time.
