A bit pricey, but very good. The speakeasy vibe is fun and unique ( you gain access by using the payphone at the front door). The Bad Larry was a great drink and the onion dip app, grilled PB&J and flat iron steak entree were all great as well.

So glad we found this place. Only ran in for some cocktails and a snack. Ambience great…service great…bartenders great…food great. We only sampled the deviled eggs 3 ways and the onion dip. They nailed that onion dip with the fresh chips. I’m going to duplicate that… and yes it’s cool using the pay phone out front to get in….2 pairs of shoes please…

Cool speakeasy bar in Keene. Pick up the phone and saying you’re picking up a pair of shoes for how many people in your party. Dark wood interior and decor sets the tone for high quality cocktails, unique draft beer list and solid choice of food options. Service was great as well.

The themed restaurant pub definitely has great atmosphere. The staff was amazing and made you feel like they were actually interested in what you were saying. But the star of the show definitely had to be the food. The flavors were next level, being from the US we expect huge portions but what it lacked in size it made up for in flavor making it so you could enjoy the whole meal comfortably and the taste was so amazing.

OMG so cute! My daughter’s friend told her about this place, and she has begged my husband and I to go. Went last night and it was such an amazing, relaxing night out. Definitely going to have to go back. Often!!

Wow, this place is super cool!
I love how they commit 100% to the speakeasy theme. Everything from simply entering the business to all the details inside. It’s a real atmosphere, and it’s a blast.
On top of that, the service is fantastic. The food is delicious. The drink menu is good and promises to grow (I was told they will start carrying higher end choices soon, starting with Glenmorangie Signet – a fantastic bottle).
I really love everything about this place and can hardly wait to go back! I think it’s the coolest idea and so well executed…very impressive for Keene NH. Kudos!

If you’re ever in Keene, NH, make sure to visit Soles, a true hidden gem. As you approach the old shoe store, you’ll notice signs indicating closure due to prohibition. But fear not—there’s a payphone outside; simply pick it up and call the person inside. After stating how many pairs of shoes you desire (we requested two), they’ll come out and lead you into the secret speakeasy restaurant and bar. The cocktails are exceptional, the locally sourced charcuterie board is divine, and the meals are unbelievably delicious. The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is top-notch, and if you’re intrigued by the Robin Williams mural, it’s a tribute to the star of “Jumanji,” which was filmed in Keene.

Cool speakeasy style bar/restaurant that I only recently went to cause I kept accidentally falling for the fake signage saying it’s closed and forgetting there was actually an operating restaurant there.
Didn’t try their food but the drinks are easily the best in Keene. A bit more expensive than some places (like $10-$16 for cocktails) but worth it cause the cool vibes and good service.

One of a kind in the area. We drive almost an hour to come here after dinner. Very cozy. The bartender is very knowledgeable and attentive. Just a beautiful speak easy vibe. We love it and have been coming for years. Just use the phone to place your order of seats. So cool!
