Every time I drive to New York, I make a point to stop here for brunch. It’s become a little tradition for me.
Then prices are fair, the portions are generous, and the flavours are exactly my kind of taste-comforting, satisfying, and consistently good. You really get great value for what you pay.
If you’re passing through or heading into the city, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It’s definitely worth the stop!

My partner got a turkey club with homemade chips, he loved it. I got a grilled chicken sandwich with spinach and cheddar cheese also with homemade chips. My sandwich was great. Fresh chicken grilled with cheddar and fresh spinach on toasted sourdough bread. It was awesome. Loved every last bite of of. The homemade chips were great, not oily, little salt crispy and still a little warm. The dishes both came with a slice of dill pickle. Loved it. They sold jars of pickles there, not sure if that is what they served or not but the ones they served were very good.

Update: You were our waitress yourself not someone else I only know that because I asked for the manager. Also you never asked if I wanted it remade you argued with me when I said it wasn’t right. A good owner at least would have discounted our meal. You only do good because you are right in front of a trailer park (nothing against trailer parks I used to live in one)
We walked in it looked like a cute little diner! Got seated quickly. But then it went downhill it took the waitress almost 5 minutes to even come to our table we got our drinks immediately that we asked for thank you. The cranberry juice was watered down and the apple juice was so thick that my husband did not even want to drink it, but choked some down anyway to wash down the nasty food. I ordered eggs benedict traditional style. The eggs were cooked good, but the English muffin with soggy and she does not know what Canadian bacon is you get a thick piece of ham instead. Oh and the hash browns looked really good until you tasted them and they were cold and undercooked. My husband got some type of breakfast goulash and if it wasn’t for the sausage gravy being hot the whole thing would have been cold and again the hash browns undercooked. The two pictures are the food that we left and I told her I would send her a picture of what eggs benedict is supposed to look like. When I asked for the manager she said it was her and even with leaving over half our plates she’s still charged us full price. Unfortunately now I’m going someplace else to find some food

First impression is everything.
So far, so bad.
It’s probably just a cultural thing.
…
It’s getting to be a little more promising.
They offer gluten free rolls!
…
The food is great. Many “meat lovers” skillets available.
…
They could use some improvement in the realm of welcoming the outsider.
Initially cold to “urban” folk.
Perhaps just a sensitivity on my part. (Hmmm, that seems like an acceptance of intolerance from my viewpoint.)
…
Overall good.
Good: location, food, atmosphere.

The food was great. My son got the pancakes with lucky charms and he loved them. My wife got the Irish skillet and she raved about it. My daughter got a breakfast sandwich and loved it. I got the classic breakfast and it didn’t disappoint!

We are visiting from Florida and we’re so happy to have found this Diner. The food is so good, big portions and the service was excellent. The food came out quickly and was hot! The gravy with the biscuits and gravy was SO good and probably the best I’ve ever had. If you are looking for a place to eat, I recommend giving this place a try! You won’t be disappointed!

Discovered this wonderful diner while driving by and noticing the packed parking lot. Turned around and checked it out ourselves. Wow! This was now our third visit and each time, meals have been really good. Home cooked, daily soup (very favourite is the Cheeseburger soup), generous portions and reasonable prices. No wonder the place was hopping. Meatloaf was good, mashed potatoes AWESOME, really enjoy the Best Dam Chicken Sandwich. The breakfasts look great so will try that next time! Desserts also look so delicious – especially their Hershey’s ice cream!
