Won’t forget this place in May. Overheard a group of people who just said, “we have a new Pope! He’s American!” While waiting for my husband patiently waiting to be served at the counter to place his order. Yes, you have to wait in line then they’ll deliver to the table. Food was good. I do not like the plastic container for the chowder.

The combo specials are amazing. Or feted the fish sandwich and it hung out both sides of the bun by at least two inches.

Flo’s Clam Shack is a must-visit! The lobster roll was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is laid-back and coastal, giving you that true seaside dining experience. Great food, great vibes, and an all-around fantastic place to enjoy seafood!

If you’re in Rhode Island, you gotta stop by Flo’s. Their famous fried clams and lobster rolls were exactly what I was looking for when I was craving seafood. The fiery stuffed quahog is also a tasty sidedish along with the clam chowder.

The best of the best. We got there when it first opened to avoid any lines and quickly ordered the Large Chowda and the Fisherman’s Plate.
The chowda options were regular, creamy, and spicy we ended up going for a creamy and it was a bit soupier than expected. Aside from that there were heaps of clams and potatoes loaded in. Extremely well flavored and not too heavy for the weather.
The fisherman’s platter is more than advertised with heaping amounts of fried clams, some scallops, calamari, shrimp and chunk of fish. All the seafood is so fresh and fried well and pair perfectly with their tartar sauce.

I’m not a sea food lover, but OMG this place makes me want more! The Clam cakes are amazing! And the fried calamari too! The place is welcoming and the staff are very friendly. Definitely recommend!

We stood in line for 20 minutes to order & eventually we ended upstairs at the bar. The layout of the place is a bit disconnected but it is a fun experience nonetheless. We ordered the fisherman platter & were satisfied with the flavor & freshness of the seafood! I wanted to get a t-shirt but they are out of stock, maybe indefinitely. Adds to the mystique of this cool place. We will definitely plan to spend more time at the bar on our next visit!

Was very excited for this place and unfortunately a little disappointed. Mom and I came here for lunch, I got a small plate of the fried clams, a side of coleslaw, and she got the fried fish sandwich special. The clams were cooked well, breaded and crispy, but the clams were too fishy tasting. Mom‘s fish was bland, and fries came out cold with a weird seasoning on them that made them all taste sweet. The cocktail sauce was good, but the tartar had a weird aftertaste. Additionally, most of the tables upstairs were dirty. However, I will say that, despite the clams market price being kind of high, the price of my mom‘s special was very reasonable. Additionally, the view from the deck outside is gorgeous. Service was fast, and the servers were knowledgeable and kind.

We tried this place as a recommendation and also because of the good reviews. I don’t know about other options on menu but the “Flo’s fisherman platter” was so oily to the point we couldn’t eat it. The clam cake is good. You need to order and pick up your food in the balcony, they were very gentle but no service at all in the tables. There is a parking with a lot of spots behind the building.
