We came for the fresh wild caught oysters. We tried both the raw and baked. They were both served at optimal temperatures. On a whim, we also ordered the fried jalapeños and enjoyed them even more than the oysters. Even the ranch dipping sauce that accompanied the jalapeños was housemade and delicious. I would come back just for those fried jalapeños.

I tend to get stuck in rut when it comes to ordering food in a restaurant, if something is cooked just right, I’ll order it pretty much every time. I usually order their Flatiron steak when I come here and have never had it overcooked. I like my steak rare, almost blue, and they manage to hit it out of the park every time.

My husband said the scallops were the best he has ever had! My crab legs were excellent. I would have personally liked them with more Cajun flavoring, and to have my butter hot/melted. The food was still excellent! The live band made it very enjoyable. There is a putt putt golf ⛳️ there. We will definitely go back!

Spent 2 weeks in Forgotten Florida and was lucky enough to find the Red Pirate. We visited several times, local oysters were in season and they were phenomenal. Good drinks, and assortment of beers on tap. Great staff who take good care of customers. When we get back to the area, will definitely be back!

The food, service, and atmosphere was fantastic. Popcorn shrimp was really good. Cocktail sauce and the chicken sandwich was delicious. We tried the bacon wrapped shrimp and it was utterly surprising how good the combination was. We had a party of 13 and everyone had positive things to say about this restaurant. Would definitely go back when we visit!

My daughter and I come here a lot. She loves their popcorn shrimp and Mac and cheese. She asks me to go to the “Red Pirate” on an almost daily basis. Their popcorn shrimp is really good, I’ve also had their crab legs (my favorite) and my husband and I have also had their chicken wings and my husband says they’re in the top three for him when it comes to wings. It usually is pretty crowded when we go and so it will be a bit of a wait sometimes but nothing too crazy.

Family oriented – mini golf on site, live music outside, sports tv inside. My fish sandwich was very good but fries were not hot. My friend said her burger was ok and her fries were not hot. Chicken wings were ok but a little dry. Our server Shandon was excellent. IPA was not large but was ice cold and on special for $3!!!

Locally owned and professionally operated. The ‘dining area’ in the front of the location is perfect for families and the sports bar and game area in the back is great for someone like me. Great food, excellent staff, and perfect atmosphere. A perfect example of what The Forgotten Coast of Florida is all about.

Two out of three Appetizers either went to the wrong table the first time, or we caught them right before they gave them to the table next to us that we were talking to.
Service was mid at best. I’m not sure if they didn’t have enough workers for the night, but they weren’t happy getting flagged/waved down for drink refills.
It was a neat place itself, but I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend. Got there at 5:30, crowd came in heavy right after 6-6:30

We originally passed by The Red Pirate Family Grill to go to another Eastpoint restaurant. The restaurant was closed and they recommended Red Pirate. How cool is a restaurant with a miniature 18 hole golf course! We were greeted right away and set immediately. Soon enough Connie the Server came by and took our drink order, then our food order. Very sweet lady! We got three versions of cooked and raw oysters, plus a blackened seafood basket including hush puppies, shrimp and scallops. The local Oyster City beer was on point. Connie checked on us just the right amount of times. Too often a server will ask you if you like the food before the first bite. After the best meal of the month Connie came by and sunk the hook in by offering homemade key lime pie! She is a bad person!! lol. Told her we will be back in two weeks, she said you have a regular table and a regular server now!! She made our dinner experience exceptionally memorable! See you soon Connie the Server!
