AMAZING!
The staff is so energetic and friendly. Our waiter, Chris, was great! He made sure we had everything we needed and definitely made our dining experience awesome!
The food was incredible. First, we started with mozzarella bricks (so cheesy and crispy). I went with the Creole Honey Glazed Salmon, and my husband went with Shrimp and Fish.

Been a long time since I’ve been there and I wish I’d gone back sooner! Makes you feel like you’re dining in a marina off the beach! Great kids menu- even little boil pots! We tested out the sampler and a boil pot and everything from the coconut shrimp to the fried fish to the crab legs was awesome! Definitely still a bright spot on the Boardwalk!

First time here. We were seated right away (we came in at 3) and our server came over quickly and took our order. It wasn’t very busy so we were surprised it took kind of long for the food to arrive.
I ordered the clam chowder and Joe’s garden salad with shrimp. The cup of chowder was decent but more potato’s than chowder. The salad was good! It had bacon, onions and mixed greens.
My husband ordered the fish and sausage sandwich with fries.

Came here with my family, this was our first experience here. Great atmosphere, our waitress was fantastic. Clean bathrooms and seating areas. The food was meh, and they mixed up several of our orders. I do think that this restaurant is cool, but as far as the food goes it could be better.

Our server was awesome! She was on top of everything. Checked on us often. Kept the drinks full and was nice about it. Looked like she was also working the bar too.

It’s been years since we’ve been here. Honestly the reason we quit going was because the service and food left something to be desired.
Since we were already at the Boardwalk for other things we figured we’d give this a try again.
It was a Monday so we didn’t expect it to be busy. It wasn’t (there were only 4 or 5 other tables seated). We got seated immediately, and then the waiting game began.
It took about 10mins for the waitress to take our drink order. Then about another 10 to bring the Coke and Dr Pepper we ordered out.
I ordered the shrimp sampler and added a side salad to my meal and my hubs ordered the grilled chicken sandwich.
20 minutes after ordering…the waitress comes out to apologize because the manager told her they were out of salad. Twenty minutes later….after ordering. SMH
When the meal was finally brought out …a good 35 mins after ordering….the forgot the fries initially that came with my husband’s meal.
The vegetables (brocolli)on my shrimp platter were not even warm… they had no flavor, no seasonings… tasted like they were either microwaved for a minute or just dropped in boiling water for a minute. The rice that came with my meal, was still crunchy and not edible. The bread was chewy. All I ate was the shrimp
When we finished eating. We sat waiting another 15mins for the waitress to bring the ticket….and by that point my husband was beyond tired of waiting and was just ready to get out of there. After he paid, he realized the side salad that they were out of was still on the ticket ($4.49) which should have been removed the moment the manager told the waitress they were out of salads.
Yes, we should have caught it before paying but after having been on the restaurant that wasn’t even busy for 1.5 hours… waiting around to correct thr ticket wasn’t worth any more of our time as far as my husband was concerned.
Completely unrelated to the service but it begs me to question the operation of the place when in the hall where the bathrooms were… there was a case of toilet paper or paper towels …unopened..just waiting to be put up. That shouldn’t be in view of customers.

Joe’s Crab Shack has the best crab boil! The crab was super tasty and easy to eat, and the seasoning was just right. The corn, potatoes, and sausage were packed with flavor, soaking up all the buttery goodness. Our waitress, Kelsie, was awesome, super friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The place had a fun vibe, and the staff was really nice. If you love crab, you gotta try this—I’ll definitely be back!

The food is pretty good here. Restaurant is always presentable and has great views of the riverfront. Service is ok, had to wait 20 mins for our cocktails as there was nobody behind the bar. We ordered our drinks long before our food and still got our food first. Steam pots are more expensive then what they use to be, I think they use to be $25 and now they are $40ish.

Food was great! Service was great! They are testing out the Blackened Catfish w/Etouffee as a special with the hopes of adding it to the menu full time and it truly was a 10/10. The crawfish tails and the jasmine rice balance out the flavors immaculatly. We also had the Royal seafood boil which was as flavorful as it was pretty! Our server was Emmalee and she was fantastic and attentive!

Great spot to throw a few back. Solid patio area overlooking the river. Samantha the bartender, is great and goes out of her way to make your experience as wonderful as possible! Employees like her really make the difference!
