The food is so good here and the atmosphere is so pleasant! Although I’ve been going here for a little over 3 years and every week they kick me outside where it is so hot, there are this group of kids that throw stuff and act wild, I am not part of that group! My mom spoke to TWO of the people here about how I follow the rules and yet they STILL tell me to go outside, I try to tell them I haven’t done anything wrong and that I’m not part of there group, but they simply don’t care which is so rude, this place is not meant for kids!

Twice I have brought large groups for a combination lunch and panel conversation at Transfer. The ballroom is a great space for lunch with a large group (40-50 in our case). Cody is the events manager – he saw to our every need on the day of and was professional and communicative leading up to the event. The rest of the staff were warm and helpful.

We have ordered from Chottes (twice) as well as Bul Box and Che Empanadas – all were hits with a grad school crowd. The Ballroom area has some privacy from the rest of the hall and the string lights give the location a nice atmosphere.

I found the prices reasonable for the food and service received. Speaking as someone who has booked similar events in Raleigh in locations around the city over the years, Transfer has been my favorite venue to work with. I highly recommend them if you need to feed a large group in Raleigh and don’t want to have to worry about logistics.

Transfer Food Hall has a great open space inside and plus the outside to eat is lovely and welcoming. The variety of food options there is great and the sushi delicioso!

Transfer food hall is a great spot for tourist or for the college students near by. Well within walking distance from campus and even downtown.

The food hall has plenty of choices from Vietnamese to Mexican to bagels to ramen. There is even a unique bar that serves cocktails in cute cups.

Overall, the food is a bit pricey. The meals are about $16 or above. The bagel place is your cheapest bet.

Lots of great places to eat in this food hall. We tried the ramen and bahn mi in bull box and it was delicious. We also tried the sandwiches in Alimentari and it was amazing. We also tried hot masala chai at Chote’s. There are many other stores for sushi, pizza , beer … restrooms are clean and staff is very friendly.

Our son and his wife invited us to lunch while we were in town for a few days and we were treated to the Transfer Co. Food Hall! The vibe of the hall is upbeat and modern and the friendliness of the restaurants was amazing! We started at the bar with a couple lunch cocktails, the Queen’s Manhattan was my favorite! We then spread out and conquered, each of us opting for something different! It was all delicious and fresh and cooked up quickly even though they were very busy! I had one of Mama Crow’s salads and couldn’t finish it, it weighed a ton! The choices seemed to be endless, there’s definitely something for everyone’s tastes! On the way out, we stopped at Alimentari Butchery and grabbed a few things for the road including the beef belly pastrami! Hands down the best pastrami I’ve ever eaten!

Pros
Clean, quick service

Cons
Very hot inside
Cocktails from bar were undrinkable. They were not well balanced. My Pinky and the Brain just tasted like sour mix

Is a nice place but was not pleased with the food and or customer service in general. The atmosphere is not that great as expected. Sushi is good, burgers not bad, I was expecting better burgers to tell you the truth. Fries are good. Again, not really good customer service, most employees and people in charge of the whole place are kind of mean.

This was my first time visiting Transfer Co. Food Hall & wasn’t sure what to expect. It was wonderful. We arrived around 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed, the first place we came to said “Sold Out” so I was worried that our choices might be limited but not so! This place is fantastic!
We ended up getting a couple of empanadas from Che and a cookie that was easily one of the best desserts I have had lately.
We also ordered an order of Lamb Samosas from Chhote’s.
Finding a spot to sit turned out to not be too difficult even though it was very busy.
Can’t wait to explore the other options on another day!
