Everything was excellent!! The best Mex I have ever tasted!
The guy at the window was polite, nice and patient. The food was fresh, I ordered the Jalisco style burrito w/o shrimp. Fantastic!!
I was not only full and satisfied, but the portions were just right.

Decent Mexican food at very reasonable prices. Ezekiel provided great service!
Laurie was very pleased with her Steak Mexicana (and so was I – :-)) but I’d likely try something other than an enchilada plate next time… Ice cold beer was not available to swill down our eats.

Awesome authentic Mexican food. Have not tasted anything this good since I moved from California 30 years ago. Fast friendly service, clean environment. BIG portions for a great price. We will be back again!!!!!

Not sure if they were having an off night or what (It’s a Saturday evening), but my experience here tonight left me very unlikely to return anytime soon. They weren’t very busy, especially considering there were baseball and softball games letting out (everywhere else in town had a line except here… Should have been a sign, but we were hungry and didn’t feel like waiting somewhere else). We started off waiting to get served while we watched people who arrived after us get their menus etc first (seemed the waiter knew them). That wasn’t too big of a deal, but a bit frustrating. We ordered our food and some queso to go with our chips and salsa. The queso was barely warm, definitely very watered down, and the only flavor it had was off-putting. The salsa tasted like canned tomatoes with lots of cumin and chilli powder added. Our food was just okay, not great, but also not the worst ever. The service wasn’t the worst, but once again seemed to fall short (mostly due to people arriving after us being served first… Seems the waitress knew them). The waitress refilled our drinks once, but otherwise we didn’t really see her or get checked on. I don’t really complain often about restaurants and am pretty easy to please, but I found myself pretty off-put about this experience. I have ate here a year or so in the past with a pretty good experience, but seems the staff/owner changed. In my opinion, it’s definitely worth driving the extra 20 minutes to eat Mexican food in Cave City or Ash Flat at El Palenque where you will get great food and service.

The food is good when they get ur order right. This us the third time I have ordered paid good money to not get what I ordered. They need to fix their phone and make sure the to go orders are correct. They verified with me twice and we got everything but we were missing half of everything or it was wrong in the container

This is definitely a casual, come-as-you-are, family and homey style atmosphere. Staff are friendly, accommodating, and service is always quick and done with a smile. Plates will hold 2 chimmies and still give some ‘cutting’ room. Food is tasty, filling, and always arrives hot, so be careful not to grab onto your plate immediately. Some care toward presentation is given. Menu is wide, contains specific meals, entres, and combo selections. Prices are also wide, ranging from single digits up to about $15.00 per meal.
Almost as soon as you sit down, a huge basket of warm chips and salsa arrives. Salsa has a bit of a bite, but not ‘hot’…this coming from someone with a tender mouth that does not tolerate spicy very well. An offer of cheese sauce or guacamole is made with the chips. The salsa is included with the chips, however, anything aside is an extra charge.
I’ve been a more than occasional customer for about a year.
So, come enjoy, eat and relax!

Just left this place from eating lunch. Everything looked good and the staff was friendly. The meat whether it was steak chicken or a burger they was all burnt and dry. It’s bad when you burn a child’s burger. So whoever is on the grill needs to learn how to cook or replaced.

Food wanst the best took over an hour to get food and they weren’t even busy. Husband found hair in food and told the guy he took plate and never said anything else to us. Paid full price for food. Definitely will not be going back.

As I was eating the chips and salsa I dipped my chip and pulled out old soggy pieces of chips. As I dug through the salsa trying to figure out why I found several pieces of soggy chips. They obviously reserved salsa from an earlier customer. I was sick the rest of the day. The health department needs to check you guys out and lay down some ground rules because you obviously need to learn what to do and what not to do. I will never return and I will never refer anybody to your restaurant. Thanks
