I frequent here with my wife. The burgers are good. However, my opinion is the biggest draw to this place are the friendly staff behind the bar and, their beer selection. They have about 20 plus beers on tap. They will make good recommendations will let you sample some before making choices. Again, the burgersnzre also very good.

They used to be pretty good, but as of recently they’ve gone down hill. The past two times they’ve been out of several things like actual pickles, Cajun fries, waffle fries, milk, and more.. when we go to the “pickle barrel” we expect pickles at least.
The waiters are nice though. The tea is decent. They do have good burgers and chicken sandwiches. Also, 2 for 1 burgers on Tuesday nights and 2 for 1 chicken sandwiches on Thursday nights at 6.

Ticket was $35 for 1 burger, 1 beer, and a kids meal. Spendy by any stretch…. I expect to be knocked out by quality at these prices, got a stomach ache instead… Sad because this place has been here for probably 30 yrs and is a well known staple.
The waitress was great, very helpful.
The burger was the baby botch, which was somewhat cold after waiting 45 minutes for the food when it wasn’t crowded at all.
The burger patties are FROZEN, seriously on $16 burger give me a break, some of the meats on there tasted a little old too.
1 beer which wasn’t even a pint was $8, the price of an entire 6 pack in craft variety…..
Sweet potato fries were awesome!
Guess I will have to try something different next time… I know it can be better than that.

I used to LOVE the pickle barrel’s food and wait staff. The last three visits left much to be desired. I first thought maybe it was just an off day. We all have them. But after the 2nd time of getting a nasty tasting burger I said I wouldn’t go back…but I did call in an order for pick up. There was so much pepper in the burger it made my daughter have an allergic reaction. they also charge a pick up charge. Pickle Barrel Adios for good this time.

Update: Sadly, discounted appetizers is now only for a few of the appetizers, and it is now $2 off instead of half off. Told us after we had received our food. May be going to Fieldhouse next time.
Half price beer and appetizers during the week from 2-6. Then depending on the day another special after six. If you time it right you can get half off of everything. Good burgers or chicken and great beer selection. Service is always good.
Sometimes they get too behind during lunch though and it can take awhile.

Love the 2 for one burgers, especially the Jamaican burger, and half off draft night. Go here at least once a month, and I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good burger and craft beer. Don’t forget, they let you sample the beer first.

Got the Jamaican burger and fries green beans, food was great, sadly they were out of what my friend ordered, no crawfish in Louisiana sounds a little weird, also out of the jalapeno fries. Was really curious about those. However the staff was awesome, the beer was good, and the food that we had was pretty amazing. Will probably stop by again if we are ever in town again.

Love their happy hour from 4p-6p on weekdays for half off drafts. Although the bartender and waitresses usually don’t know much about the beers that they have on tap (last one didn’t know what an IPA was) they do have the largest selection in town.

Fun atmosphere, friendly waitress, great hot sandwich. What’s not to like? The burgers and sandwiches are large and have LOTS of flavor. No dull sandwiches here. Great beer choices as well.

SOOOOO GOOD! My only complaint is that my stomach wasn’t bigger so I could’ve eaten more! The Frychos are delicious! I got the Cajun Burger and it was awesome!!! My husband got the DMDB Burger and was disappointed because he couldn’t eat all of it! Excellent server! Oh also, on their kids menu is written that they have all these ingredients and will do just about anything your kid may be in the mood for! Just fantastic!
