Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I missed you!! I just got back into town after being gone for a bit. My first stop? Whataburger! I had a Whataburger, minus onion, plus grilled onions and grilled jalapeños! Outstanding! A side of fries and a drink to top it off! It sure is nice to be back in San Antonio, where I love me some Whataburger!!

Last.time I visited this location was in MARCH of 2010 before my shift, back then they messed up my order, fast-forward to today 02/08/2026 and Mrs. Flores took care of me, her and her employees truly gave this location a 100% satisfaction as im a tough critiic and everything from fires and spicey chicken sandwich to the sweet teat was on point the way it should be!!!

This was my first time visiting this particular Whataburger location. I find the food to be consistently of quality at each location. My only complaint is that my order was incorrect despite the special order (sub BBQ for honey butter) being indicated on both receipt and remarked on by the individual who out brought my food. That said, he was very friendly, and I’m confident they would have remedied the honest mistake had I returned.

I waited 20min for 2 breakfast sandwiches. The worst part was the absolutely disgusting overwhelming smell of urine in the restrooms. It was so bad I had to leave, it’s gotta be a health issue and makes me question even eating here.

I order salads 4 times a month sometimes more and they barely have lettuce. You can see the bottom of the bowl sometimes and it’s not even touching the lid it’s so low. It’s literally $23.00 for 2 salads and they should come with two dressings instead of 1 because they are so small

Fill up your drink from the beverage dispensers.
Had to pay for a ranch sauce to dip my French fries.
The restrooms were clean. There are tables and booths for dine-in customers.
Service was quick.
The food was typical – good!

Awful! We have been going to Whataburger for years & we were looking forward to coming to a Whataburger in TX and what a disappointment! Everything from the quality of food, the poor customer service & cleanliness! I watched an employee drop napkins on the floor & instead of throwing them away she placed them on the food assembly counter! We asked if they had the green chili hatch double burger & they said we don’t have those here and then caught nothing but attitude, eye rolls, whispers & a wrong order from the cashier! I would give negative stars if I could! The sad part is this partial location is a mile away from the Whataburger corporate office!

My husband comes here verrryyyy often. Especially since we moved close by. The only thing I don’t like about this place is that it takes so long to get your food in the drive thru. Even when no one is in line. We always have to pull forward for just 1 regular meal. And everyone is not so friendly. The IDC face lol
